Alright- I'm back with another question. I appreciate y'all's patience as I get my bearings. I've started exploring premade cards. Most of the cards work, but a few the model in the maker is wearing a generic school uniform rather than the outfit pictured on the card. Does this mean I'm missing the outfit or do the cards not necessarily reflect what the model wears?

Related, a few of the cards load in missing hair. I've installed what is recommended in the modern installation guide. Is there another hair collection that likely has what is needed in premade cards? I found a site with a hair pack, but it looks like it uses a different installation process.

Thanks for your guidance (and patience with me getting my bearings!).

try to test them in the game, the maker dont like clothes over the 255 slot or something like that, plus I guess you dont have the tot packs, if you can post a SS of your install folder a lot of us can tell you what are you missing dude

You're killing it Zadke. I located ToT and installed it and I think it fixed the problematic hair styles. I also installed his clothing pack just in case. Some of the models seem to be wearing proper clothing now. Any idea what might be causing this? There are just a couple of models behaving that way.

Man, you're not kidding. You've clearly done work to get your version looking really good. Here are a couple of screens of my install location. Are you able to see anything that might help me out?
I've not installed the UPP because I wasnt sure how much it would actually add, but I could be convinced otherwise. Same with Faceparts Pack.

I've also not messed with the Harderlinker or Texture Starterpacks (Step 3 on the Modern AA2 Guide). Those looked a little overwhelming, but if they're needed to get my game running as nicely as yours, I'd take the plunge.

:unsure: i dont see any set on my pc that affect the slot 215 (that uniform) so its weird yours behave like that.... nvm first delete the CCC that arent civ ones, you dont have the mkiii or the svii uncensor so those are useles and also obsolete, well the harderlinker are only textures, those dont interfere with that weird hip the card have on your pc

That did it. Strong work. Can I ask what you've got going on with yours that allows the plaid pattern to show up on her skirt?

well that pattern is thanks to the harderlinker, if yoou want to have underwear, skirt, dresses or shirt textures you need to have that

Youre right. Its not worth asking. But to not let you go empty handed, a few guesses:

1. To introduce a little bit of randomness into a neatly organized, numbers dominated game world.
2. To throw the player off, if theyve been playing the game for too long. Ive mentioned a "build order" a while ago - i almost always get thrown off when a chick gets startled and think to myself: "Ha... right. What was i doing, again?
3. To SCARE YOU! Im sure you get startled right back from time to time. We all do.

this game is just full of places where your imagination has to fill in the gaps. they could be spacing out or so focused on something that you getting their attention is surprising, they could be doing something they aren't supposed to in school, they might be a little on edge from being attacked (fought) by other NPCs, you could be catching them leering at someone they like, its really up to you.
I will say that with the modded personalities its a bit tougher, because you have to either edit the soundbites to get just the parts you want or leave it in and try to work with it. its a bit odd when all the personalities imported from koikatsu always ask if you like cooking and then go off about it when asking about food, for instance.
what I wonder is why nobody (to my knowledge) has tried to use a bunch of english voice lines to make personalities. sure, you'd need a lot so its not just 1-2 cards speaking english but there's gotta be enough material out there where it could work.

Hello! I just heard about this game and just downloaded it from here. Is it normal that my game has less than 3Gb in size? I asked, because on the 1st page I saw someone saying that the game had 12Gb... o_O

yes, this version is condensed a lot, but is not missing anything. even so, it runs perfectly fine, and even comes with some basic mods, which is quite amazing. kudos to the person who shrunk it so much somehow
