is that it? i thought the UPP installer tries to delete those files because they are unneeded. i noticed that the subtitles also exist in the UPP files. which does the game use?

the Instructions for installing the UPP have you copy the subtitles from UPP over the originals, because the UPP versions include new subtitles for all the new personalities.

subtitles are the words that appear in the top left corner of the screen if you have the feature turned on in the aau launcher. they show subtitles for the AUDIO lines that npcs use, including when npcs talk to other npcs in game mode in the same room you are standing, or during H scenes. they are necessary if you want to use that feature.

Subtitles are NOT the conversation lines you read in the bottom text window during normal interactions.

those are inside the UPP ppx if you want to change the actual conversation lines

Was going to attempt to make one called "incredible assets" where any interaction with the card that has it has a 5% chance to change to a touch request. I feel like I could find how other modules do percent chance, change interaction, perhaps even add a virtue/love check. I mostly wanted it to get more NPCs to request on me, so I could see the dialogs they have.

Note: I only understand the "Lastname Firstname" part but the "First Last" & "Nickname" is something that I did not understand.

that just means itll allow you to use any order of naming, or the nickname (which is old and no one really uses anymore)

this would be pretty straight forward. on event "NPC wants to talk to someone" do "If this card = NPC talkTarget" "If Roll-int(5)" "Make npc talk to "(trigger card talk to npcTalkTarget) and select Enumeration type, and select "Touch" in its dropdown. and thats basically it

I just use the search function in this thread and found good explanation guide. Which basically using "Lastname Firstname" and add comma if you have more than one character card to put.

"what virtues does it affect" i dont know what this means. i dont think the module has much in the way of actual virtue involved in its code. npcs will naturally make decisions based on their virtue, thats i think all that is involved

the summary is just, put it on an NPC, and they will go try to convince people to do Karaoke together, and after karaoke ends, they will ask if they want to Follow_H. (the module does not force npcs to say yes, npcs say yes only if they want as far as i remember)

but the actual "how" of the code that makes ai make decisions is yeah definitely one of the most complex modules out there. probably top 3 complex modules:

Detective
Card Swapper
Compensated Dating (any version)

Im asking what virtues it affects, because ive managed to get laid with a normal virtue chick with this module, but not high or highest. They get "cold feet" every time. The normal virtue one also refused, but after a few attempts she accepted, while the others didnt.

The devs knew and it's already there: you can ask any NPC that has high love for you to Ignore anyone you want. It's not guaranteed (and even if it fails you actually gain love too lol) but if it passes you basically win the game against anyone.

Trying to force someone to ignore another card can only go up to 70% (after three attempts) if they arent exploitable. Im aware of that, but it doesnt help me at all.

The game was built around the PC being incredibly hard to be hated on with stuff like: your LLDH gain being half the normal rate compared to NPCS, so anything you mess up is barely felt and NPCS very rarely picking fights, insulting or slapping you.

You have no idea how quickly i get hated by other guys in class. One or two competitions makes them hate me and try to fight me all the time, starting at day 2 or 3. A couple of bad interaction outcomes might end up with me eating insults from chicks too, which isnt optimal, obviously.

Theres differences between the AI and the player in terms of too many interactions to bother mentioning. Ive posted "info dumps", explanations and guides across this thread about those. One worth mentioning here is bad rumors. When you spread a bad rumor about someone - the NPC gains some dislike points towards the target. When the NPCs spread bad rumors, each accepted bad rumor increases the NPCs hate count towards the target by 3. That is MASSIVE, in case it isnt clear.

And, no, you gain the same amount of LLDH as everybody else, cept the players LLDH doesnt matter - only the NPCs LLDH towards you does. Did a test on that too at one point, where my PC was gay, while banging all the chicks in class, whilst having no love count towards them.

If youre curious how NPCs end up with high LLDH towards each other in a manner of a few interactions - search this thread for "MM" or "mystery mechanic". Should shed some light on how its possible that you have to work your ass off to get in the pants of some chick, while some random traffic cone interacts with her once or twice and they end up with mutual "Overflowing love!".

its not like the code is behind a paywall and like you said its really just ""if virtue higher than (number)/ 5 + orientation modifier" so give a shot at looking at the module, youll probably understand it pretty easily once you look at it for a bit

The first screenshot happened due to the '32_ikemenfaces_v12' file and went away when removed. Without the file, the second screenshot happens due to the card relying on the ikemen face files. I have the HEXA override, HEXA hairs, TOT hairs, ultimate sclera + eyes pack, C4 personality mods, TOT outfits, hipixel + hipixel ikemen mods if that helps.

Will I have to choose between cute girls or hot guys?

ikemen faces shouldnt have any effect on fem cards, unless they are doing weird things with overrides, in which case you can address the card itself. far better to keep ikeman mod probably
