lol at a year later, but in case anyone else runs into this bug, I had same thing happen and had to restart games to fix it.
AFAIK it was caused by running through Megane "recollections" (or whatever you call going through their old scenes.) Ironically it helped as a cheat, b/c you could rob her over and over again with no stats impact, but appears it also made her vanish and so could never be added to the harem.
All Dumbcrow's games are like this. I don't consider them grindy; they're just not simple to play / win.

This is a difficult needle to thread with how annoyingly fast the timer moves. It's a narrow window between when Grace leaves and when you can catch her in the alley. Feels like 20 minutes passes before you can even equip stims and go after her.
Edit: For the Pepperspray mechanic alone, I have absolutely 0 fucks about using cheat engine on this

Not that difficult. You sort of chase along the side of the girls, then either tuck in and grab them in one motion, or you wait for them to drift in front of you and grab them... they sort of zig-zag back and forth and if you keep straight they eventually cross paths with you. The trick is you only get one grab at them before you get sprayed.
I completed it with no cheats in about 4 hours, after a failed run.
