I saved my game after setting my decks, and when I loaded the save, the decks had gone right back to what they were before. I found I was able to save the changes if I changed rooms after and then saved, but that seems to be a pretty big bug.

The same thing happens if you go into the chest in your room and transfer items between your inventory and the vault and then save. The items will be back where they were before you transferred them if you don't leave your room before saving first. Assuming the same would be the case if you went into the actual vault room itself and tried the same thing.

Just been an issue forever as far as I'm aware but seeing as how there is an easy enough workaround, I've never reported this issue on their bug-reports channel on the game's Discord site.

No. There are some similarities with MIST (in terms of setting), but this is a slightly different game and its main difference is that this game is a CCG (Collectible Card Game) with all its functionality. :)
+ wider possibilities for exploring the territory

Ohhhh yeah the other day I typed mist in the search function to see a lot of people comparing to it and I don't blame them, reading the description basically screamed "MIST" for me since I just finished it the day before, I should check this game out though.

This one is more sandbox-y than Mist is. Much more RNGesus involvement. I like both.

But wasn't there a rumor that Astral Lust would
have a big update this month?

Has there been any word at all from the dev?

Merry Christmas Forgotted :). His last post was Oct 22 on Patreon I a little worried he had a relapse, hope it's not the case was really liking that Astral was back
