So yea, this game is interesting but it feels like it try to pull every other sci-fi stories elements as it can and throw everything at the wall and see what stick. Event Horizon, Dead Space, WH40k, Mass Effect, Deus Ex Human Evolution, Doom, etc. Its so damn confusing constantly, because it feels like its pulling on far too many threads and it just confuse things.

The Max text speed in preferences is 70 cps, usually when you max it out the text appears instantly, here it is a typewriter.
At max slider CPS should be 0, then it's instant.

I found that if you set it to 0 it becomes instant

I find slow text annoying so I was glad to see this worked (I have also set transitions etc to be skipped)

In most renpy games the slider to the right gives instant text.

On my first run I did but I overwrite it with the new update, so... just need to wait for the mod to be updated right?, well thanks will do that

Never overwrite the folder consisting an older update with the new one, unless it's an update patch, like some devs make. It can cause problems. Always extract the updates in their own folder. The saves will still work (at least most of the times, if the dev doesn't change variables), because they're stored in the appdata folder.

OMG....thank-you very much. It was driving me nuts trying to find and edit the settings to stop the text scrolling (UnRen'ing and editing).

First time I see this game here, but since there are 18 pages and has 2 chapters I guess it is not actually new.

Judging from the preview pics, I already like it, far more unique characters than many games.

I didn’t like the changes to the dialogues in Act 1, the text lost its flow, clarity, and natural tone. The natural and balanced feel of the previous version was replaced by artificial lines that break the rhythm and come off as unnecessarily forced and exaggerated.

The previous version was much better in this regard, and I think the changes should be reverted in favor of the earlier version.
I know this might not be what the dev wants to hear, but I’m saying this as a fan of the game. (The dev has already modified the text so many times that he probably won't want to touch it again)

PS: The problem only occurs in Act 1, Act 2 is fine and similar quality to what I saw in the previous version of Act 1.
