Not really. There might be spells which are more effective against certain enemies (like Smite against Zegladar) but you should be fine even if you specialize, unless you decide to specialize in Restoration because you don't have offensive spells until you get Smite. If you have some school at 50, your fights just using spells from that school will end faster than if you have 20 at all schools and use different schools. Against Zegladar, at Illusion level 50 you can just spam Terror and win the battle before you run out of MP, other schools are similar. With all schools around 20 the fight is more difficultThought so, thanks!
