well most battles are winnable (dunno about last confrontation with wrath when he has 1k health) but for timesake skipping is best option.

right, normal wrath took ~14 rounds to beat with 2 mana steals. embiggened wrath would take ~150 rounds. main problem is hjard's mana.
Wow. I had never played this before a week ago. I have done the neutral path and the good path. Not entirely different stories,but there is enough change to make it worth trying more than once(I made different choice on girls as well

MC needs more manna. I never lost and even fully played wrath battle,but it does take a looooong time.

well if it is 150 rounds and each round takes 20 secs then 3 rounds in a minute and 10 mins for 30 so 50 mins for 150, possibly more.

There are some spell combos that can make long combats significantly shorter. I like combining spells that freeze, paralyze, or frighten enemies and then stack them with curse and sic a summoned creature on them. While they are dealing with that, steal mana and repeat the process. Rebound is also a boon if you need to make them punch themself in the face for a round.

My favorite spell is "SKIP" as it is an instant victory! The last games I enjoyed that had turn based combat were Fallout 1&2! Hahaha

I was having this discussion with my daughter the other day while we were playing Dragon Age Inquisition and I was talking about how I used to prefer real-time battles like the ones in the Baldur's Gate series and other similar combat systems that Bioware has incorporated in their games. Yet as I've gotten older I've come around to turn-based combat like in the early access of Baldur's Gate 3. It just might be a feature of getting older and changes in game chemistry that keeping the flow of the battle and the strategy clear in my head requires a bit of a pause that I didn't use to require.Do you want to experience all content (good, evil and neutral) in a single playthrough? Do you hate having to choose? do you want to have your cake and eat it too? introducing the CAKE mod (for act 1 only) (EDIT act 2 in progress)

By popular demand (by which I mean there was one guy who asked about it) I'm back with some more cake!
I've slightly changed things for act 1, so you have to make even less choices (choose a skill to improve? Improve them all (so you'll be overpowered really quick, yay)! redistribute your points? Sure, the mod auto redistributes it for you! cum on her face or her mouth? Both!) and made some of the parts make some sense.
Also, I've decided to release act 2 in parts, so you don't have to wait untill all iso done to enjoy some cake
WARNING: act 2 cake mod works best if you import a save game from act 1 done with the new and improved cake mod. Will it work with one with the old cake mod? probably, but I didn't test it. Will it work with a save imported without act 1 cake? It will not crash, but probably some things will go wrong (again, didn't test that)
I've done act 2 untill version0.6 075 (Halfway there!) 0.90 0.98. How do you know if you've reached the end? Don't worry, the game will conveniently crash when you do. Just click rollback on the crash screen, save, and patiently wait untill I release more of these (It won't take so long anymore, I promise, I finally have some time)

you see them in the neutral route. keep your alignment close to zero.

play on neutral and you get all scenes (even ayna and possibly bredita later).
