i'm prob a tad blind, but where is the similarity between the two? i mean, it's a great game, but just not sure where the two intersect.

Developer mentioned on Patreon, that trying to push regular updates filled game with bugs, so he switched to "when it's done" mode for 1.0. Also too much content planned for final version, so it can take a while.
So your best option prob just wishlist on Steam and wait for notification XD

Maybe adding to it that the 1.0 version will have a different, more flashed out Ivy story and a whole ton of new sex scenes. compared to the "lacking" 2023 year of updates 2024 is most likely the strongest and most content heavy time on the roadmap.
This is just speculation but I imagine twice or thrice as much content in the 1.0 update than what was released in 2023 if not more.

Idon't know why but in my case it doesn't work. It tells me that I enabled the cheat, but it doesn't show me the gallery parts that were previously locked. Help pls?

I got the scene with Ginny being possessed with Lirey and got an equippable item with no name, icon or description. Anyone knows what it is?
Supposedly huge, next update is the game release with the ending and a extensive intro overhaul.

no, if you got duchess scene & the harpy scene, you basically reach the end of the current build, story quest wise. Have you tried dungeon runs after helping the demon? There are some new enemies after dungeon+(get to last floor & goes though mid portal).
At least he's addressing the bugs finally. For a while all he seemed to care about was updating the tomb/dungeon. I jumped back into it recently and it was messy but still enjoyable. I'll probably wait til he's done with it before I jump in again.
I'll just grab it on steam eventually (if the achievements work) since he blocked me on patreon.
I personally haven't encountered any bugs while playing 0.31 and just waiting for extra content
