If such a thing crossed their mind they would probably said something along side their post where they announce the "Final" version release date (November, 15).
At this point it's probably better to wait for the final release (check post above yours) and see if it works, but if you still want to try now better specify the game version you are playing (Android, Windows), consider ask in the itch.io game page too and look at older posts there, maybe someone had the same issue.
Agreed. The dev managed to tell a serviceable story in just the right amount of words, and the minigames are golden. Great polish everywhere
not sure about achievements, i played it more then a year ago, waiting for full release rnow
I love that we get the option to keep our stuff when we restart. Not that I mind starting from 0 but there are some thing I'd rather not grind for again.
Dude, we don't "get the option", there's no option to start fresh. You either keep your current save's stats, or get lvl50 and 5k gold. If you wanna start fresh you'll have to manually delete the save file, at least that's what I'm surmising from the screenshots.

There was a guide (or, rather, a wiki) that got closed because Fandom.
I never really required that much help thanks to the in-game "guide", if you know what I mean, that guide got neglect in the latest updates but I'm sure that will provide a more "complete" version of it in the "final" version.
