Well, the Dev of this game certainly does have an imagination, that's for sure. So far, I am liking it, but would have to see where this goes to say for sure. However, kinda surprised no I Patch for this game, as the way they set up those 3 ladies, it is almost like it's begging to be set up as mum and sisters. Anyways, thank you so very much for this, and I will be looking forward for more to see where this goes!!!

Girls look good, story seems interesting. One problem is that choices are mostly ignored. They affect stats, but the stats are never checked. The choice regarding the bet with Luna doesn't change anything, except for the affection point change. If you refuse the bet, it continues on as if you had accepted it. Nothing changes. If you choose not to accept Aurora, it skips the scene, but in the morning, MC still acts as if he accepted her.

All that can be mostly overlooked, what really causes problems for me is the absolutely terrible English. The fact that literally every single line of dialogue contains at least one grammar or spelling mistake really makes it impossible to focus on anything else. Constantly using the wrong forms of they're/there, then/than, your/you're, to/too, etc. Missing punctuation, wrong speaker, wrong name when addressing someone (like Mia calling Yushu "Mia"). This game desperately needs a native English speaking proofreader.

Edit: All the dialogue from 0.1 has been immaculately proofread and is now a joy to read. 0.2 dialogue is not perfect, though it's mostly just missing punctuation. The choices from 0.1 still are mostly ignored, but the new choices in 0.2 seem functional. Overall, major improvement from 0.1 to 0.2. The game is very fun and enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to future updates.

i like the game so far but the lightning for the animations and also for the different locations is not so well made.
But it´s a fun story with a dark background. Keep your work up.

I think the dev already mentioned he was going to proofread it for it for 0.2, its not hard with ai to just paste the code in and have it correct the spelling mistakes so i'm sure it'll be an easy fix.
Also, you were expecting choice to matter on a 0.1 release? Jeez give devs some time haha

There are no good AI proofreading tools. They are all terrible, so that won't really help in any meaningful way. You also can't really proofread your own work, because you don't know what you don't know. For example, if you don't know the proper uses of there/their/they're, then you won't be able to correct them when proofreading your own mistakes.

And yes, I absolutely expect choices to matter in a 0.1 release. Choices are a big deal in VNs. It's also an extremely simple thing to make a choice meaningful. Reworking past choices is the main reason that saves get broken on future releases, so it's important to get them right from the start. Even a brand-new dev should understand how to properly code choices and utilize variables before an initial release. Without meaningful choices, it's just a kinetic novel with extra steps.

Huh, I guess valuing grammarly at 13 billion dollars was just a joke?

Grammarly is primarily intended for editing writing by native speakers. It's great for polishing mostly well-written documents. If the game only had minor errors here and there, Grammarly would be fine. This game has errors in literally every line of dialogue. It also has many errors that Grammarly, or any other AI, cannot detect or correct.

AI can't properly establish or understand contextual clues, especially when those clues are visual, which is fine for most documents, but pretty useless for visual novels. It can't tell when dev uses the wrong speaker, or mixes up character names, as the AI is only looking for errors in syntax and spelling. AI also has significant problems with gendered pronouns, and will often leave those more of a mess than they were to begin with.

Bottom line is, every little bit helps, but the English in this game is a pure train wreck, and it'll take a real native English-speaking proofreader to make it tolerable. This is a visual novel, the quality of writing is just as important as the quality of the visuals. Dev did a good job on the visuals, but the writing is what's going to really hold this title back.

Release schedule:
Artimus Employee: Monday - September 29th (In the afternoon)
Artimus intern: Thursday - October 2nd
Public release: To be determined (I have to check some minor bugs)

What's new?
- Around 900 total renders (so about 500 new ones)
- 7 new animations (very very high quality, almost 3000 frames)
- Update graphics (better lighting, higher quality texture due to more iterations when rendering on a 4090)
- 84 total sound effects and music
- A total of 13,400 words (counting the 0.1 release too, 0.2 is slightly larger then 0.1)
- Updated the gallery, there are bugs but it's technically working (just don't complain because it's a WIP). Also I would not recommend using the gallery until after playing the full play through. It's completely unlocked for now

I'm seeing a ton of tags for only a second release. Are they all there or did they mix up actual and planned?
