I click on her to follow me. She says ok, I go to the master, nothing happens. I go back to the room and I keep asking her to follow... but nothing happens.

You don't. It seems to be an unfinished option that was enabled by accident. This is remedied in 0.0.9

You really don't need to do that, since Ren'Py's reading precedence is compressed-last. In layman's terms, if you physically create the folder, it will read that instead of the pictures in the package, as shown here:

Alternatively, you could simply extract images.7z into the game/ directory of the game. (images courtesy of 4Finger )

This can occasionally happen if you rollback. One of the solutions to this is that you go to sleep.
