Some character only appear after reaching certain affinity or love.
Just keep playing, don't focus on quest, focus on debt.
There's also certain character and stuff that unlock from debt progression, so keep paying your debt.

Played it yesterday, the game actually have quite a lot of contents surprisingly.
Also it can be quite hard to meet the debt at first, but once you unlock enough thing you can easily get more than the double of needed money each week.
Some tips : film 20+ seconds clips for badges (with a lot of climax), upgrade the phone and computer, and do compilation (reuse scenes from older vids, you need to release 5 vids before reusing them or it'll be considered overlapping)
