It's certainly a nice idea to make a game about that story, but your current models are honestly not good. The more realistic models don't fit well here in my opinion, though that is with my bias as a watcher of the anime.
I'd suggest going for a much more stylized rendering program instead, imitate the 2d style as closely as you can manage. Both the hair and especially the faces need a serious overhaul in my opinion and the rest could also use a lot of improvements. The faces on the previews don't look cute at all, they're rather horrifying even, and with cuteness being one of the most important factors in the anime, I feel like you're not doing them justice.
Maybe you're a newbie who doesn't have enough experience with other programs or lacks the means to buy the right models and programs, but I do feel like you need to try this again. I'm sorry that I cannot give any real praise, but I wrote this to share my honest opinion in the hopes to fix early what I believe can be a great project.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I wasn't happy with the art either so I've now redone it all in koikatsu and am working on chapter 1. I'm also in the process of hiring an artist because my main struggle is that I've never been much of an artist myself. I expect chapter 1 to be out within the next couple weeks and I got the android port working as well. I'll post up some WIP screenshots later today so you guys can let me know what you think.

You're going to want to make a patch to hide the loli content behind ASAP. I'd also recommend removing the lolis from the banner image, as to not attract the type of people who will report the game (even if it has been approved already) which tends to lead to already approved games getting banned.

We were doing pretty well recently on loli games getting approved, but recently a few that had lasted a couple updates got banned (The Guardian most recently) so be careful

also you can submit a ticket for a dev tag.

Was excited, but I guess now I have to wait until you get an artist. It's honestly kind of annoying how a certain subset of users just go into every non-koikatsu loli game and say "this would be better in koikatsu"

I thought the models looked fine based on the previews (certainly no worse than maou-sama, and they're doing just fine)

Best of luck, I'll be keeping an eye out for the announcement that you got an artist and are switching back off koikatsu.

Thanks for the advice, I already have a patch ready, just hadn't actually used it yet because doing the renders in Daz had taken so much of my time and I wanted to start getting some feedback to see what people wanted out of the game.

I mean.. If you can do KK.. You should be able to do Daz.. Just takes more setup and takes a bit longer on images..

Good luck with the switch though, should also probably remove the "no sexual content" tag if you plan on having the stuff later on.. That's more for games that will never have then for those that don't have it yet..

I don’t hate Koikatsu, but it’s possibly my least favourite, roughly on pair with using Skyrim or Sims graphics. Personally, I’ve enjoyed the cartoonish style of Daz in the game Corruption Time, so that might be something to aim for.

Wasn’t that already effectively the case for the original story? From what I recall, she got powers at the midpoint between nothing and the single most extreme expression of every individual stat/skill etc, effectively making her at least one of the most powerful beings, possibly the most powerful one overall.

As someone who read the WN before the anime was cool announced, I'm not horrified by having it defiled by a porn parody but by having a 'photo-realistic-thingy' artstyle being chosen. And then blended with the character traits... *shudders @ Screenshot 3*

Ultimately, it's foolish to let others decide, especially without argument (onöy preference), whether you use that style or an anime one for the audiences are both large and thirsty but if you porn-parody something, it is largely detrimental to change the artstyle that much (beyond recognition).

Clarification is key to getting original fans interested, for one will understand then what will the parody be like. To address the couple of fans, by most powerful I do mean absolutely (as in full level 10 permission) as opposed to Mile who's technically half of the most powerful but can change this by addressing the nanos directly. Thus if they straight up fought, Mile would lose. I've already started a list of things to change in the thread so I'll make this more clear in the description in the next release.

Also for all those wondering about how the koikatsu models are looking, here's some samples:

The models look solid enough. Yeah, it's not a 1:1 copy of the originals like in the novel illustrations or anime, but that's not a problem. To be clear, I didn't switch because of other people wanting it, I was already unhappy with the models myself and was considering switching. Other people suggesting it just motivated me to make the switch earlier rather than waiting until I was able to hire a proper artist.

I like the Koikatsu style and the idea to make a parody of the anime.
To be honest, getting someone to make Daz renders for you isn't a realistic idea because it will probably cost you a lot of money because nobody is going to make them for free, there are also other risks like will the artist stick with you/the game or will he quit because of lost interest or whatever.

Also with Daz renders the risk of getting the game banned here because rule 7 is more likely than with Koitatsu or HS renders.
