As a big fan of Isekai/harem/shounen anime, I watched the series and it wasn't anywhere near my favorites.
Isn't it at this point a cliche in anime that the overpowered MC always holds back?
To me the selling point was that she actually didn't want to be op. I do live for the moments when the op protag finally goes all out. But ya, I wouldn't say this one is my favourite either (that's reserved for toaru kagaku no railgun) but it's about average for me.
I'm more of a fan of the "parent" series to railgun.
As I seem to have a bit of an odd taste when it comes to anime I like Arifureta and Kenja no Mago that are 2 series with overpowered MCs that don't hold back.
The light novels for index (I'm only on volume 6 so far) are quite a bit better than the anime, I just find I like action-packed anime more. I'll grant that the first season of railgun is not very good, the second I appreciate the extra backstory for the sisters but the third season, now that's when her true power is shown. Mind you I still need to finish third season of index so maybe it'll get better too (though I doubt it if the online community is to be believed).
I say we have a similar taste in anime.
Slime is a good one but I haven't watched the new season yet because I like to binge-watch and more importantly I don't like subbed anime so I have to wait for the dub. But I already got spoilert about something in the new season on youtube.
With March to a parallel world, you mean Death March? I also not 100% behind that MC totally overpowered but doesn't use it.
Demon Lord retry is good but even there the MC is a bit slow when it comes to his girls.
The wrestler anime sounded stupid to me so I never watched it and Overcautious Hero is still in my backlog.
I think I finished the first and second season of railgun but wasn't impressed especially because I don't like the side characters.
I initially watched them about 8 years ago when the second season of railgun had just started but I was still pretty new to anime back then so it didn't take much for me to get hooked. Now I find the first 2 seasons pretty meh but they really redeemed it with season 3 (at least for me).
My first I think were ranma 1/2 and golden boy. But it was definitely well after their initial release.

Bladedance doesn't have a dub as far as I know so I haven't watched it.

lol, reading through the texts, and no wonder I steered clear of that novel. Half of an elder dragon? How much elder dragons are there exactly, compared to every other races, that it'd allow for a division of half? Even if it's based on species, how much other species are there? If it's only considering sentient creatures, still don't think half is likely.

Btw, 24 half-gold for an escort/bandit elimination quest is 'a lot'? When the price of a night stay at an inn is 1 half-gold? You'd only be able to stay for 24 days after completing that quest, and that's if you can solo it. Which, normally, you can't, because it's a group of bandits..... Tack on that it's suppose to be a newbie friendly quest, due to their low rank.... Are they sane?

So for the power it's the average of everything which means half as strong as the strongest being (the elder dragon king). That makes her 3,400x more powerful than the average mage. And everything ends up like this where she's "average" but not in the way she wanted. As for looks, she still needed to be made human so her body ended up being the average among humanoid creatures (elves, dwarves, and humans). They also explain that her magic is powerful but her body isn't any stronger than a normal human, instead it's the nanomachines reinfrcing her any time she attacks or gets attacked.

Anyways, yeah, I agree with some of the other comments about how the sizing is weird chunky. Like that party introduction, the first one seemed okay, but the 2nd party was just plan tall/giant.

If I remember correctly Mile actually complains about how God calculated the average in the exact same way you are. I think the author basically used the laziest definition of "average" to mean middle value (basically median) and just calculated it by dividing the largest number in half thus halfway between smallest and largest so average (yes I am quite aware that isn't even close to how averages are calculated, I'm just going by what the original author did)
I didn't notice the comments about sizing but can definitely make adjustments. If you can post screenshots of exactly where you mean that would be helpful (I'm pretty sure I know where you're talking about but wanna make sure).
