Vast majority of Japanese hentai games that call themselves "NTR" actually aren't. The "NTR" is just a handwaving excuse for the main point: The thorough humiliation and degradation of the woman. It's like "unobtainium", a plot device that exists just to move the story forward and then discarded almost immediately.
Almost all the female protagonist games I have played that are tagged as NTR was not NTR because I have never seen their boyfriends/husbands stolen from them by a "better" woman.
Those are harem games lol. Almost every single woman that isn't the "childhood friend" is a better woman and they're all trying to get with the pathetic beta MC for some unknown reason.

We all know that whenever there's a hentai with "ntr", what you should expect going in is too see a decent woman being turned into a cumrag, not the nuances of cuckoldry or cheating, etc. If you want true NTR, I'd suggest you play Western type porn games for that, the DAZ ones. Those made with Koikatu or HoneySelect are often made by weebs and inspired by hentai, so they tend to follow the same tropes. Basically? It's simple:
Asian style hentai: Focus on humiliation, degradation and corruption of a woman.
Western style porn: Focus on the MC, the actual fetish and its consequences, lore.
Obviously it's not *always* like that, you can find gems in hentai and duds in porn, but this is a good general rule of thumb.
