also is it too late to change the game name? searching for "b.e.s.t" on any search engine would never show this game as a result ever. Its a miracle that I RNG'd this game on steam. Also worth the price ngl. Superb art compared to other 3d games

just remember the dev's name and search on developer not on title, also the site allows you to bookmark threads/posts etc.
you have a lot off options to solve this issue aside from asking the dev to change VN's name.

that's not how anything works. the fact that some people found it doesn't mean that it's not hard to find for most people. that would be like pointing at someone bowling a perfect game and saying "if he did it, then it couldn't have been that hard". I don't think it's reasonable to think the name will change at this point, but it is also valid to point out that being called "B.E.S.T" does make the game harder to find through any search engine.
Seriously, search for "B.E.S.T steam achievements" and I challenge you to find the achievements page for this game rather than 100 lists of best achievements ever or best games to 100%

Any casual search in a search engine would strip the punctuations and would just search for 'best' which would return so many other stuff even if you add keywords like "game" or "gog/steam". And why the fuck would any casual not too tech savvy potential customer who might have just seen the title or art elsewhere and became interested in the game or whatever look to deep into the details and bother to add the developer's name in a simple google search. It will show up in vendor sites like steam or gog but if anyone wants to take a quick look at what the game is about or looks like they'll get nothing. Game title fails so many SEO checks its sabotaging its own potential sales.
And for the record it took me a good deal of time to search for this forum that is the only other active forum, as far as searches go for this game that is searchable outside of steam community hub

Hmm, came across this on Steam and was thinking of check it out. I wasn't that interested in any of the seemingly 4 main LIs, but after seeing some screenshots of red/blue (Elizabeth/Sophia?) and lightly browsing through some conversations on here, I think I might give it a go! Interested in red/blue at least... As for the LIs, well... We'll see...
