Part of the problem though is Avalon only did a limited amount of hand drawn/scanned in graphics & there's a LOT of scenes that have none.. unless either Avalon decides to come back & draw new graphics or there a VERY talented artist that could replicate his style (mind you if you look at his 'style' it does vary a lot anyway) then AI is really the only way to go, however from what I've been finding out it is possible to teach AI art styles so if someone could take time to teach an AI the style of Avalon then there still a possibility.Honestly, I prefer the characters drawn by AvalonX....

I don't know what Novaca been doing but I know his versions are tweaked/cleaned up existing Avalon graphics. Whatever he has been doing I don't know if it would also allow new graphics creation ? only he knows
Thanks - AI does help even if you just experimenting. Even if I don't get the right prompt for a graphic, I can also get AI search results to summarize what prompt may work betterBut I have to admit that AI can significantly reduce the workload, so I'm not opposed to AI creations.
Cough.. cough.. 'author(s) are'I'm also grateful that the author is
Thanks for that, I'm no artist or even an AI expert, & doing experiments in my spare time, so my attempts will also have variations just like Avalon's but I'm trying LOL, but nice to know my experimenting is getting a 'like' even if it could take up to an hour+ of experimenting for just 1 scenecontinuing to work on this game.
If I really need to use AI images in the future, I'll probably choose the Foxy version shown in the post.
Just a word of warning
I'll probably won't do full replacements of existing graphics (hmm, did I just drop a hint there ?) so you may get a mixture of styles when playing through
- problem is I just can't seem to get the required scene(s) as SD has trouble with multiple characters in prompts & there's no easy way to get exact correct poses (there are ways but I have difficulties getting them to work)
I guess an expert could probably know how to do it though but for me it's a LOT of trial & error
