I don't remember exactly, but it seems like? After the author of the page was deleted from Patreon. Because of a complaint about the content of one idiot - a subscriber. The author greatly lost motivation and faith in people. And went to make the game (finish it) offline. Free time. It seems like he said that he would finish it in 2025-2026. And he will not keep a development log. But I don't remember exactly anymore, since these events seem to have happened several months ago ... or even more.

I think he means that one idiot that subscribed to his patreon complained to patreon about content rule violations, (Probably incest related stuff) and got his patreon shut down. I see how something like this could be demoralizing.
Not exactly. The complaint was "idiotic". As far as I remember, from the words of the author of the game himself. The complaint was financial. The user raised a scandal to return his money, or something like that, citing the fact that the author of the game updates the game too rarely. And the complaint was addressed, as you understand, not to the author of the game, but to the administration of the pantheon! And as a result, this complaint generated interest in the game and content. And accordingly, they discovered - TERRIBLE ... INCEST !!! And for Patreon, incest is almost worse than pedophilia. As far as I remember, everything was like this or something like that. But I could be wrong somewhere, do not judge strictly, correct me if I got something mixed up. I think the complaint was about the lack of information/update of the game.
I mean it's understandable when you are supporting a creator and they are taking a few months to make the update. That's fine.
But after a year of silences and you are still take peoples money, any goodwill left towards you will be wearing thin. Say nothing about nearly two years before any update was forth coming.
So to me the complaint is valid!
You paid to support the developer and they show no progress what so ever after 6 months, you are entitled to make a complaint about them.
If anything they waited nearly 2 years to complain and that is generous!
See I feel like complaints directly to the dev or posted in comments on his patreon page were 100% valid and warranted, and its also 100% valid for someone to remove their financial support entirely from the dev, but complaining to patreon management (I assume) in the hopes that they would straighten the dev out and get him to post better updates, just seems incredibly naive and wrecless to me. And if it played out the way Geck 1989 says it did, this complaint to patreon got the whole page shut down because the game had incest in it, and the complaints about no timely updates drew patreon management's attention to the game where as before this it was flying under the radar (UTR). Im guessing that the last thing the complaining patron wanted was for the creator's patreon page to be completely shut down, but they really should have seen this as a possible outcome of their actions. This game like several others I can think of off the top of my head, was hapily flying UTR of the patreon morality police. I assume that anyone that cares enough to donate to a game and complains that they are not getting updates in a timely fashion certainly doesnt want to take away the creators patreon page all together, becasue they want the game development to continue, but rather than getting a more timely update from the dev it is very possible that killed this project for good. Because without the patreon page as income im not sure how motivated the dev will be to continue this at all. I really hope im wrong but thats how I see it.

Sure he could have stopped his support and moved on, but he choosed otherwise. What's done is done and if we all had the benefit of hindsight we wouldn't be making mistakes.
I actually see this as a benefit in the long run as him having to move from the ticking time bomb that is Patreon to a somewhat safer SubscriberStar will ensure his support income.
I did a little math with his SubscriberStar members count, even though SubscriberStar membership display is not accurate.
He gets a little over $1000 currently with his SubscriberStar members, like I said SubscriberStar is not accurate.
So I'd say it's 25% off and he is getting $750 from SubscriberStar, even at worst case scenario and it's 50% he is still getting $500.
That was the level he was at on Patreon before it got closed down, so I wouldn't be worried about the development support not being there.
I'd be more concerned about him going back to his old ways as evidence with the silence after the last update.

Guys... Do you really think it's because Patreon discovered a story where a family lives happily having consensual sex? OF COURSE NOT! It was a miracle that the game stayed there for so long, because it blatantly violates several rules and one of them is: "Patreon has zero tolerance for works, real or animated, that depict non-consensual sexual acts such as rape, sexual assault, or coerced consent (e.g., under the influence of drugs or alcohol, hypnosis, blackmail)". Basically Bob only has sex using one of these means. The last update included blatant rape with Lisa awake and her physical and psychological suffering (remember how Bob can spank her so much that she can't take it anymore and passes out? And then he even hits the mother's head on the door and has sex with her unconscious). I think the game was taken down because the last update grotesquely exceeded the limits and I have no doubt that many reported it.

I understand liking bad bobby saga was to flirt with not consensual sex, but that part crossed the line for me
There was nothing arousing about it, it was just violence, while we knew he was penetrating Lisa

I'm not very familiar with the Patreon rules, but from an artistic point of view, topics that may seem controversial can always be justified. They are works of fiction, and if that were the case, works like Game of Thrones would never have a chance on Patreon.

I'm like you! When you mix violence or suffering and, ultimately, death, it stops being sexually arousing to me. Of course, a little spanking on the ass like when he helped Lucy study or even punishing Lisa doesn't bother me. I don't know which game it was exactly, but I read that in some game they changed the sleepsex scenes to insinuate that the girl was actually awake and consented. At the end of the scene, she opens her eyes and says something to herself. They did this so that their page wouldn't be removed from Patreon. But of course, there must be hundreds of games on Patreon that violate the platform's rules. Bad Bobby Saga was one of them and it stayed there for years.

It's easy to explain why, it depends on the reasons. I mean, I don't know if you saw the 1995 movie Kids? It touches on topics that Patreon rules wouldn't allow, but from an artistic point of view it shows the reality of adolescence and its mistakes. It shows young people without the ability to make good decisions, without a good family education, without worries other than having a good time. That can be shown and defended from an artistic point of view, even necessary for education.
BBS is the behavior of a teenager who makes mistakes, is horny and manipulates his family. If the author wanted to justify something, he would say that he wants to show how certain people can act at an early age, the mistakes they can make and the future consequences.
