So, i downloaded it yesterday and i have to say that i am completely overwhelmed by the look and feel of Ellie.. I need to congrats you @recreation for your choice in models for this game and also advise you to always shine your shield and sword for the days to come ONCE white knights decide to visit this forum and begin their righteous campaign regarding the ambiguous and open to many interpretations "true*" age of Ellie etc.


Keep up the good work, the story is very interesting and has a very dark aspect submerged regarding the chartacters' true intentions and motives.

I like what i see so far. This will be a very interesting trip!


* Where usage of the term "true" is - in my opinion -totally ludicrous and totally hypocritical when we are dealing with pixels and not in real life situations.

I actually found some extra scenes(such as this) in the game files, and conducted extensive research to find them, but couldn't. I have clicked literally everything in every phase of the game where you're free to click stuff and none of these came up. Is it some super secret stuff you have to find mid-dialogue, or did you perhaps forget to code it in?

It's coded in, but has a reeeeaaaally low chance to happen (it's random + with some conditions )

I have some bad news :/

I've had extremely long loading times for my scenes in Daz for a few days now (loading the scenes, saving the scenes, start rendering process), today it took 44 minutes only to load a scene that usually took a minute. So I started searching the Daz forum to see if this is a known problem...
It turns out that this hints at a hard drive failure and there is a great risk of it's dying soon. It's an old HDD I used as main storage for many years now, so I think it's more than reasonable. Sadly it's also my biggest HDD, so I have no other HDD with enough space to make backups. I'll buy a new one, but I'm a bit short on money this month, so this has to wait until next month (luckily just 6 days).
I don't want to risk loosing all of my Data (2TB), so I prefer to don't touch the PC until I have the new HDD/SSD next month.
This means I won't be able to work on the game for at least a week and the progress has already been slow during the last days because of the extreme loading times, so this might also mean the next update might take longer than I wanted (maybe even june, but I don't hope so)
I will still be checking the forum and especially this thread though (thanks to whoever invented smartphones). I simply can't miss you crazy people posting^^

I wish i could help right now... but it's not this easy... I hope, you don't lose any progress, since thats something which would delay the next update further...

I was able to make enough space for my renpy folder and all the saved scenes from Daz (wow, that's 30+ gigs already), so if the HDD dies I just need to download all the assets........ just several 100 gigs of assets...

Thanks for your offer, that's really generous but I'm going to buy a 2tb Samsung 860 SSD I found on sale (it's on sale until next sunday, and I should have money on tuesday, so no trouble at all) and I think it's best when I also buy another 1 or 2tb HDD when I get the money from patreon (now I'm quite happy that people constantly asked me to create a patreon lol).

Anyway, thank you! It's always nice to know that there are people who would support me or the game
