In my experience, the only thing an abandoned tag does is fill the thread with needless whining about the abandoned tag.

You've got your: I called it ages ago, now acknowledge my greatness at predicting this douches.
The 'aww, I loved that one and really wanted more of it' folks.
The 'I can't read a thread or tag properly, when is the next update' lazies.
And the folks like us commenting repeatedly about the fact that it is abandoned and answering the above questions about it being abandoned.

Someone should do a basic walkthrough of this simply to make sure we can hit all the girls and not get locked out of anything.

I dont think there is a way to get locked out of the route with all the girls. You just need to answer the right things in every dialog, which should be easy enough as its always the logical thing to answer =)

You don't need a walkthrough on this one. The only choices are if you want to pursue a girl and if you are into being with more than one girl. If you get to opportunity to explore a location before going to wherever the story is telling you to go, explore it.

So, I think I have found a bug or more. The bug(s) is (are) related to the "after_load" method:

try:
mcmd = pcmd
pcmd = None
except NameError:
mcmd = mcmd


After the game ask for your name and surname:
1. Open the game console e type watch mcmd, (mcmd = '')
2. make a save
3. load the save you made
3. Open the game console e type watch mcmd, (mcmd is the name you typed')
4. make another save
5. load the last save you made
6. Open the game console e type watch mcmd, (mcmd is None)

The after_load method as implemented is a total mess, the more you reload the game the more information and variables change to None.
By the way, to destroy a variable in python you have to execute:
del <variable_name>
(I don't know if renpy deletes the variable from subsequent saves)

Thanks for letting me know. The after_load variables are only there for save compatibility with older saves and I will remove it completely once the main story is finished, so I don't worry to much about I tbh. By now I've also implemented an option to change the name in the settings.

Dev gives regular updates on steam. This was his last one in March. He recently moved countries and also has a family to take care of so it's probably still going to be a wait. For me it's worth the wait because this is probably one of my favorite VNs.
Hello!

I've just finished one of the scenes for the upcoming update, and thought "this might be a good time for a news post", so here goes...

One thing I want to make clear right from the start: I still don't know when the update will be done, but it shouldn't take too long anymore.

So, as many of you know, I've been back in my home country for a few weeks, settle some things, get the last bits and pieces of my stuff, etc.. most of my stuff comes with a container ship in one or two months, but I took some hardware from my old render pc with me (so I won't have to wait for it to arrive with the container), and I'm already using it effectively. Render times have decreased a lot!

Anyway, I know most of you just want to know about the update:
Currently there are 7 scenes more or less finished. There are scenes for all of the girls (side, and main), and the main story progresses as well. I'm still working on some render and animations for some of them, but they're mostly done.
I still have to do one bigger scene and some minor scenes in between, to connect everything, but after that, there's only testing and the beta release, which usually takes about two weeks, after that the full update will release.

I should mention that I've decided to not switch to WS after this update, but to go right back to BM. The way I've planned things out, it makes more sense to keep working on BM. I could, of course, just release one huge update, but there's just so much left to do, that I prefer to not do that.
Nonetheless, this update should still be the biggest to date (content wise).

I'm also planning to release a SFW version of BM (Steam only), which requires some additional work, but it shouldn't affect the update much. This will make it possible to release BM in countries where Lewd stuff is not available on steam, but with a small (free) patch, it can be converted back to NSFW.

So yeah, that's all for now. Stay tuned for more soon

The dev wrote that March 13th... It's almost July now... I question the time perception of the dev, because not too long is not almost 4 months imo.

Also if he/she is moving from one country to another, why not putting the game on hold until he/she CAN work on the game? Anyways, even if it's not abandoned, I'll consider it as such until it updates. Prolly christmas 2026 or something xD

we only waited years...and don't forget the reworkks and other shit...this dev and the one of Heavy five are only bad and not respectable...sadly, this is the only truth..i loved this game and story but now i lost my hope on this one
