Between Jada cockblocking our first and only actual sex scene with Katie (my favorite character) after so many years and cockblocking Rachel and the MC when she's finally opening up, the fact she exploits her while she's drugged. Yeah safe to say I don't like Jada.
This is one of my favorite games, a rare female MC game that doesn't force you into weird stuff, I love this game, just not Jada.

I'm going to be honest, I'm one of those that like her but I see these "flaws" in her, I assumed these were some of the reasons why you said you didn't like her. She also seems a bit pushy at times, constantly nagging you about getting laid with Rachel because she can't wait to get a piece of her as well. At the same time, she wants everything to happen as soon as possible and teases Rachel quite a lot, despite MC having told her a few times that she's not ready and that this will take some time, if it happens at all. The same with Katie. I really like Jada for her intimate and personal interactions with the MC (in my case female MC), you see her genuinity when alone with them, when she's more vulnerable. But when her horniness takes hold, she gets impatient and might have some traits which people might consider as annoying.

I tend to rock the male MC playthrough. I see a honey of a young woman who wants to get laid as often as possible, and I like that.
Not liking the MC being forced into a relationship with her is a bit of a foolish objection, when you're also forced into one with Elly. Jada is on my shit list for interfering with the Katherine action, though.
I don't. Jealousy isn't an issue. I think it's far more common that people assume that to be true, because they are taught to believe it. Sure, people are inherently selfish most of the time, but if you don't reinforce that being accepted they tend to be just fine sharing. You introduce compassion for their fellow people.
That said, I also don't compete for a woman's attention. If she's interested, great. If not, I won't waste my time trying to persuade her. That's always been a bad outcome in my experience.

Just wanted to let you all know that the Update is done on my side and will be internally tested (by a small team that I forced, I mean, invited to become my official testers) for one more week before the actual release. So if there are no major bugs, the release will be within the week from august 18.
Oof. Not wanting to play your own game after you have allegedly finished developing it is never a good sign.

Putting aside that it's not uncommon (and normal) for people to not want to play something they've spent a lot of time developing (at least for a little while), because, y'know, they've just been working on it for a long time... this is literally just the dev saying "development of this update is done, it's being tested now, here's the expected release date unless the testers find anything that would take very long to fix"

That's not what they said.
But I will take that as you never have written anything your self. When you know what words are coming next, you tend to not read it. You basically just see the first and last letter, the brain fills in the rest. Most ppl do this with everything they read, it just gets worse when you actually know what has been written. It's a form of pattern recognition.
It's not that they are not willing. It just helps when you have others to help take a look at it.
Also, when you work hard and put your heart into something, it's nice to get some feedback from ppl you trust before you send it out into the world.
I mean, you do know that game tester is a legit profession?
I help another dev with proofreading and editing. The first time he asked me to help, he said he already played through the latest update 30+times and felt like he was going mad. And I still found plenty of errors and mistakes.
