I just finished another scene and by now I'm quite confident that I'm able to make a likely prediction regarding the update.
So I'm still not a 100% sure, but I'll try to finish everything this month, which means that the update might be out by the end of this month, but even if not, it will most likely be out next month.
Right now I think next month is really likely, that is unless my apartment gets struck by an earth quake or my hardware explodes (or my house-spider dies *cough*), but we'll see how it goes from here.

It's been an unforgivable TWO WHOLE DAYS since we last heard from the dev. How long are we supposed to sit around for an obviously abandoned game?

the last update was last year , that means dev had around 7-8 months to make an update so on the basis of that we can say that the update will have quite a big amount of renders ( if the dev is hardworking) the lowest to be around 600+ renders .
SO whenever the update releases this month and the renders fall short to event this , that straight as gives you an idea on how hardworking or hardly working dev is.
