Congratulations for a good and promising start to the dev!
The VN is a seldom but good example how to leave a positive impression with your first release. Both quality (art, characters, story) and quantity (amount of content) are above average and pretty good, which is a rare combination and the reason for this well received start of this project.
In many games I need my time to get used to the male MC because of the looks or his first impression regarding his actions. Many times it seems there are only premature teenagers or some primal muscleheads with no common sense available. In this game I like the MC from the beginning. How he looks and how he acts. I know it is still a AVN, but his available actions at least feel somehow believeable or reasonable.
One scene kept me thinking alot and I think thats, at least for me, part why this game is so well precieved by the players. Of course I'm talking about the first scene with the wife and her female boss. First and foremost it gives a reason for the MCs behavior and is important for the story, but what I found interesting is what this scene does or means for the player infront of the screen. Just look at the posts here in this thread, some cursing for the wife, but nothing to serious and not few who would have liked to join the action. Same goes for me, first thoughts were about the wish to take part in the action, maybe a bit more forcefull to punish the two "bad girls" or at least somehow enjoying the scene.
Now, just imagine the scene with a male boss, maybe a bit older in his mid-forties or so. The content of the scene would be still the same, your wife cheating with her boss. One thing that would change alot is my own perception of this scene and in my eyes a pretty safe bet to assume the replies in this thread would look and sound different to what we got now. I like this because it gives me something to think about, something not many stories are able to do on this level. It is a great example to see how feelings work and shows often its not about fairness or being logical/rational, if we are totaly honest to ourselves.
Of course I don't know why the dev did chose to write this scene this way. Was it just his idea of his story without any deeper reasoning or is he just a clever guy and a result of him reading threads of other games here on the forum or other similar places on the internet. He knows, we will maybe never find out, but I like it and its the main reason why this post with my first impressions became way larger than usual for posts like this by myself.
Thanks for that dev!
Hope and wish the best for the dev and the future of this project!
