At some point we're going to play the game, make a bunch of decisions that upsets the wrong character and end up getting squashed by a giant fat ass or huge pair of boobs.

Well, glad to see a lot of people picking up the game and talking about it !
So let's go for a round of answer, but first, detail something some of you are talking about, and are rightfully upset for :
Sadly, yes, the old saves don't work anymore. This is due to the new plugins I added, for the Erotic status pages. And it seems that if the save did had it before, it's gonna crash. So yes, the old save don't work anymore, and I don't think there's any way around it (if you find one, please tell me, that would be awesome). So yes, this update is one that forces you to start again from scratch. But with the new stats and achievements, I think it's a good time to start again, and it gives you some new fun things to check when playing.
But trust me, I'm really sorry about it, and if there was a way to make them work, I'd add it immediatly ! But a lot of plugins can bring this kind of problem, and I don't want to restrain myself from adding cool stuff because it makes the old saves crash. So once in a while, like now, we'll have an update that needzs you to restart. I'm gonna try to make this as rare as possible, because I know it's can be a pain to loose your progress and start again, but it's bound to happen.
This is why you have a save fodler included, starting at the end of the story, so you can still use it if you want to gain time, although there are choices made here that might not be the ones you'd made. I'll try to make a full save when i'll have time for it too.
But yeah, sorry for that, and I hope you have fun doing a new run !

For the first one, it'll complete automatically when you finish the other main quests. For the second, you need to do talk to the bandit leader (in the main building of their outpost, the big tavern), ask them what they're doing here, and try to get their order (either by having 3 allegiance with the bandits, or by letting her have a scene with Illonia). Same that you did with the goblins ^^
