tried this. all the men look like staggeringly hideous Gen2 models, as do some of the women, but half of the women look like Gen8's with bad lighting. there's also a number of dev shortcuts taken here, including the meter on the top right, no explanation really given for that other than "Charm exists and is a resource". a lot of the poses are out-of-the-box, and out of place, and the visual elements just don't seem like there's much money or effort put into them.

as for the narrative, it also doesn't really make sense. i could tell that fran had alzheimers or dementia the moment she opened her fuckin piehole, and i would never let anyone i worked for treat me the way janice or fran treat protag-kun. i'd be gone day 1, and i'd take sofia with me, and we'd go to a firm/bank that actually gives a fuck about its workforce--cuz i've watched businesses fail miserably for this exact reason, and for less. seeing as how our stand-in apparently doesn't need to eat, i imagine he could live for quite a while with the grand he has, at least long enough to find a different job and possibly file a SH suit against janice.

some of the women are gorgeous (Abby, Sofia, Bella), but if that's all i wanted, I could load up daz and model them out myself, and possibly do it even better.

3. Dude, there is a whole game mechanic walk through in the beginning of the game that you clearly decided to skip. IDK man.
4. Yes, there are shitty people who are shitty bosses whose shitty companies fail. Also, there are a lot of people in this world doing shitty jobs for shitty people and shitty companies everyday to pay the bills. Why is this shocking? All I can assume is you didn't work after 9/11 or during the Financial Crisis and have no reference point to draw from.
5. Knock yourself out in firing up Daz and doing your own thing my friend. I'm not twisting your arm to play this game or stopping you from making your own. In fact I'm sure you can do a lot better. I encourage you in fact to make a game I'd like to fap to. I'd be willing to help too. Any advice you might need (though clearly you think the game is shit and the art is shit and posing is...well I get the point). Honestly, ask anyone on here (Neon Ghost for example) I'm always available to help another Developer with encouragement, coding, art whatever. I look forward to the game you make. But you know what? We are not playing a game as Ayhsel the (cute) chocolate vampire. Neither are we playing a game as Ultralazuli that would quit and tell everyone to fuck off. We are playing a game in which you take someone else personality and move arou d the lines you are set on.

I've worked a number of jobs, including both after 9/11 and during the recession in america. Your point?

As for the last one, I tried. I did. For about a year and a half I tried. But artists are insane. Got a whole fuckin thing done up in renpy 7.2.2, as well as story and character outlines, about 4k lines of script, and about 6 scenes done. but when it came time to get someone to visualize these, to compose the art and get it done, in 2d, nobody with a stable mentality and the style of art I wanted was willing to work with me. So I'm done. It failed, I failed, whatever sets your heart at ease.

That's a shame. Before giving up, you should honestly reconsider the way you go about making your game. Expecting an artist to make all of your 2d assets, while being picky with it to boot, is just insane. I hope you offered to pay; that definitely changes things, though I'd imagine a freelance artist might not like the idea of working on someone else's vision for years and years (I'm assuming they opt for the variety of short-term projects, but I have no experience in this of course).

Pre-made assets is the way to go I think, which is why most VNs here are 3d ones. You gotta make your own game, basically. If you really were willing to fork cash over to artists, it'd probably make more sense to hire 3d artists to make unique models for you; it's much easier for multiple 3d artists to maintain the same style than multiple 2d artists; plus, my understanding is that 3d art is much cheaper and easier to make than 2d art.

The term Oreo (according to Gena) means one white guy with two black girls. So, you will get a throuple, but not a harem.

afaik, that is Diya and for this scene you need to beat up bully at the shop, though nothing happens in this scene iirc.

Thanks for the kind comment. We shy away from mini-games as it tends to split the community between those who like em and those who don't. Plan is for more Emma in the future. No plans for Angela at this time though many have expressed interest in her.

G3 because when G8 came out the Patrons didn't like the look of the converted characters and they also decided that the expense wasn't worth the "upgrade" in both time and cash. Additionally, the number of characters we can get in the scene is approximately double that of G8.

I take no joy in your failure. When we have darkness in our hearts we assume everyone else has darkness in their hearts as well. We tend to only see darkness. Perhaps you could reflect and maybe be more self aware when throwing comments out about how you could just fire up your Daz3D and do what we do. Again, if you need help please feel free to reach out to me. Not everyone has a dark heart wishing failure on others.

In the beginning of the game or towards the end? If beginning, b/c we used off the shelf stock animations. If in the later, IDK prob b/c I'm doing my own animations in DAZ and Daz is not great for making animations while other Devs are using Blender. I don't have time to learn Blender tbh. I think they are btr later in the game but IDK.

Oreo Harem will be limited to Gena and Kori. Gena has a Landlady tho so who knows what I might cook up there before its all over.

Getting a lot of requests for Angela, the toxic friend. No plans currently but who knows? For sure can not recommend Stacy route enough. I get peeps might not like her but she holds the key (she is pivotal) to a lot of content.

Walk through would consume a lot of time. We'd have to put the game on hold. It's also why we've not gone back to the original art to remaster it, it's garbage, but it would just take away from future updates to work on it.

For that scene I believe you need to fight the dude, win lose or draw she takes you back to the store room. It's a non H-Scene but sets you on the romantic/white knight path if I recall correctly.
