To me it feels obvious that the Roommate has a crush on her, and my suspicion is that she maybe invited you back with her in a petty act of spite to hurt him, maybe he was getting too clingy or demanding, which she regretted in the cold light of morning.

It doesn't have to be a year and a half if there's nothing on Patreon, etc for a much shorter time...

No post on patreon since March 30, both the website and twitter/X is gone and the other site no post since 2019.
Over 4 months since last post on this site.

Looks like it and sounds like it is abandon to me.
