another one, I'm at week 116 and it's winter, when the game was in the initial stages, I played it a bit much to farm and been stuck on winter since
This month, starting on the 7th March for Stallion-tier patrons on Patreon or top tier subscribers on Subscribestar, BC v0.2.2 will be released and also, the name of the game will be changed due to the closeness of Barbarian Chronicles to some other game's name.
I have decided to change its name to "Barbarian Conquests".
Here is the changelog fo v0.2.2 and some preview pics below.
- Can now wed Harmonia. Consult council in Chief's tent, have relations of at least +1, then send a scout to negotiate dowry (BJ, Vaginal, Femdom with Harmonia).
- Harmonia can now become pregnant. Extra sexy pregnancy scene with her when she becomes heavily pregnant.
- Can now go back to Atalantis for repeat Sex with Queen Helena. Extra sexy bath scene with Princess Harmonia.
- Stealth training with Aurora implemented (visit Ulrika's house during the day).
- Sneak into Lady Elaria chambers in Pontheugh after Stealth training (BJ, +1 civilized pt).
- Sexy scene with Siff in the longhouse during winter (Handjob). Scene repeatable all year round once initiated.
- STRATEGIC MOVEMENT IMPLEMENTED! Basic stuff so far, create a second horde and move about the map, pillage hexes and fight the horde of Queen Kramis. STILL A FIRST FOR RENPY ADULT GAME AS FAR AS I AM AWARE!

That is definitely not normal. Weeks reset to 1 after reaching 51 in the game. Don't know what happened in your particular gameplay I'm afraid. Best is to open to the console (shift+o) and type: week = 1

This is just weird. Especially since only the background pic seems to be affected. I just tested it on my computer starting at week 116, resetting to 1 and I don't get that.

You've mistaken what you need to do. Pray ONE week to S'Teem, the quest starts. Then follow the steps indicated by the hints available in the quests screen (press "q" in-game). Next step is to go and acquire a map from Chief Thundergar in Grimward (warning: you'll need to have improved your relations with him quite a bit before he'll settle for a price).
And yes, any week you decide to pray is a week where you can't do anything else, and especially leave the village since praying takes the whole week.
Ok, thanks for the feedback, I'll include more hints in the future via Deirdra in the Chief's tent then if it's not intuitive enough.
You need to send scouts basically.
Now I did put a button saying "explain mechanics" above the scouts (on the map screen) about how they work so have a look at that.
I will, but two more updates here are needed to make game mechanics more complete, so stay tuned!

Thank you. I'm trying to make an ACTUAL game here (not just a kinetic novel which is what some people seem to have expected) so thanks for acknowledging that it is a good one!

Right ... but this is so counter intuitive and gamey, it takes us out of it:
Scouts are warfare scoundrels anyone would catch, torture for info and send you back their heads.
Bottom line: if you are my ally, you do not spy on me, or you become my enemy.
Mind you, those were diplomats, emissaries, yet they still got the boot.
So much a fantasy plot turned on its head to send aggressive scouts to have a relationship with another village.
I thought we were aiming to romance girls, not villages ...
