was it intended that you have to choose between either Harmonia or Astrid?!
so do I have to replay everything from before choosing Harmonia to get the Astrid scenes??
considering that was last update there really should be a hint for that or justlet both be acceptable....

Yes it was intended, there are now two routes.
Bresteria isn't Utah!
You need to increase your population to 4 to build a second horde. Then, assign yourself as leader of that horde and you can go and fight Kramis' horde on the map of Bresteria.

I'm not sure I was able to explain myself correctly so I'll try again, we already have different saves for Barbarian and Civilian and then we have to choices in game to get more branching, resulting in more saves and more time invested in replaying, was talking about a more linear path to be honest and plus waiting on content that is season specific isn't helping.
You don't really need a barbarian vs civilized save anymore, there are enough points in the game to see everything at this stage. Just accumulate as many points as possible in both, and the walkthrough helps to achieve that. Also, you can name your saves to find them more easily btw.
Maybe in the future, I will implement a "divorce" system whereby the player would be allowed to marry different characters in turn, but the game is still in development and it gives the player a choice at this stage: marry Harmonia or Astrid (totally different dowry bonuses and therefore strategies). There will also be a third option eventually of marrying Lady Elaria I'm warning everyone...
Use the walkthrough on the map screen, it will get you started in getting to grips with the game.
I'm trying to make a REAL GAME here, not just a visual novel and I've worked very hard to implement stuff you won't see anywhere else (like strategic movement).
