They've mentioned they likely will release a DLC to conclude this ending as a Discord exclusive.

We've decided it won't be Discord-exclusive. It'll be available on Steam as well. It'll likely not be available for a few months, as we're focused on chapter 3 of Heaven's Door right now.

If by multi-mod you mean the SanchoMod version, it was made for the pre-steam final release. I don't think he ever made a Steam version before he went MIA.
You might have to try the other walkthrough mod, but it's tagged as v0.5 too, so it still might not work on steam. You should make sure the steam version is a fresh install before adding a different mod though.
okey thanks I'll try it, and yes I mean SanchoMod mod, bought the game today and it's a bit boring without the mod, I wish you could buy it as DLC or something

Most mods break Steam versions of the game. Don't install a mod on a Steam game unless it says made for Steam version.
Ipatches usually work fine, as long as they don't change the games code.

Does this only happen with the cousin ending? I've only gotten Zenda's so far and I don't remember this phone call being a thing.

i just wish there was at least a way to get a heram ending to. i can handle only being allowed a couple of the women you can be with at once, but at least make it rewarding for this handicap by letting us keep all that we choose as well.

You can be with four of the six main LIs at once in one ending. For story and coding purposes though you can't just pick and choose though. That level of flexibility makes dealing with all the possibilities extremely complicated.

... I honestly can't decide which I like better ...
Nothing worked, spent 3hrs tinkering. Tried resizing the BWLogoMenuWindow2.png to 1000x1000 like you suggested but would only go to 1000x999 using Gwenview (I'm on steam deck). Someone also said go smaller 512x512 but same issue, would only go to 512x511. Tried copying the png file someone else used, they said it worked for them but not for me. Even tried using the png file from the steam build, still borked. So in the end i gave up and just went with the latest steam build. If the only difference between the 2 versions are music and mod support then who cares? As long as i get to play the game and besides the steam build is more updated anyway.
