I'll second all of this and also recommend the game.

Though on the "harem builder" aspect, I'd better describe it as having multiple different poly endings. You can end up in a pretty big polycule that satisfies the harem tag here, but there isn't a way to end up with every LI in a single playthrough as two LIs are monogamous-only. The poly routes are absolutely worth it though if you like those types of relationship structures, as they are in my opinion some of the best I've seen in AVNs.

Also, it may be useful to mention in this context that if you don't like poly/harem stories all of the LIs have a solo ending as well (some of them have emotionally tough scenes that make sense within the story). Highly recommended from me as well.

I think this is a key point, too. A lot of the time you might have girls who are "all or nothing", so if they're not part of a harem/poly, you can't get them solo, or vice-versa. I think it's rare to have a game with harem/poly where all LIs can also be solo, or at least one that does it well.

Well, I am glad I ended up buying it, in the end I went with Val route and was pleasantly surprised by her route, although I felt bad for Sadie, I may play her solo route or the harem next because all the girls were awesome except Zenda, she is the only one I never clicked with, she also felt more "side girl" than the rest of the cast.

My only minor issue with the story was that they killed his dad offscreen, for something so personal I thought they should've shown it

Overall great game, I am glad I got to play it and I'll probably be replaying the other routes soon.

Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
Serial number of failed request: 583
Current serial number in output stream: 583

Did someone else have this and know how to fix it?

This should be the quick fix for you: resize "BWLogoMenuWindow2.png" to a smaller size (1000x1000 should work) and that'll fix it for you.

That image is inside Bare Witness/game/gui folder.

Well believe it or not, someone did actually make one a while back.

Using the power of my Witness Protection Magic, I turned Sadie into MC's sister instead of his cousin. Right click save it to the folder called "game" as an RPY type file. Should be compatible with all versions and mods.

EDIT: Everyone is welcome to use / not use this patch. Please don't insult me, the developer, or other users over it.

Only Heidi, Athena, Mora, and Sadie are down for poly, but there's still some limitations there in terms of possible combos (though you can have a poly ending with all four at once).

Note: On that full poly path you can still knock up Val and split amicably, if you're going for a "maximum sex" playthrough.

The real answer is multiple playthroughs. Minimum 3 (unless you're just talking about having sex with them, then minimum 2)
