In my opinion harems ruin games, I'm sure that's an unpopular opinion but if the LI all shrug and agree to share the MC in a college/school setting game I just find it ridiculously contrived and simplistic. There's no logical reason for them to all decide the MC is the "ONE". If the character was a bit older, had a well-paying job (was rich), was an experienced and fantastic lover, and was decently endowed it would at least enter the realm of possibility. But instead the fantasy is that a man-child with no money, no skills, who is struggling to survive college is somehow the best option for not just one partner but 2, 3, or 4 partners. There's no jealousy and everyone is "Julie Andrewsing" their way through life. Makes me take the game less seriously, can't help it.You are not alone. I think harems are over done and getting boring now.
I have numerous saves for this one but the only group I have and the only group i'll ever have is Heidi and Athena. It was my first ever playthrough and I didn't want to break them up but really wanted Athena.
The rest are saves of solo runs.
Since playing certain routes, Val has jumped to the top of my list and is my "main" save.
And it ruins characters for me. I was all team Moira (it's well established I have a thing for redheads) but knowing that she's also someone who could easily throw logic out the window and share the idiot boy made her less interesting to me. I am now more interested in Val, she is not only mysterious (and attractive) but broken like the MC.
I know that's all on me and my perceptions, just can't help it if I prefer strongly written monogamous relationships. I am someone who will play through a game multiple times to see how different each relationship makes the game. But I won't bother with a harem path.
