There is different music in the Steam variant due to copyright issues.
Even though the Steam version is here, the dev initially said not to leak it here as the only changes is the music and not really worth it.

To be fair, what the dev said was more along the lines of don't overwrite the non-steam version by uploading the Steam version, but they uploaded the steam version as a variant, so the OP still has the final patreon version, which is the best of both worlds I suppose.

I think all (or at least most) of the paths feature pregnancy in the epilogue part of chapter 5 (i.e., the montage at the end where it tells you how things went over the next few years). I think the only times you can affect it in game is to creampie Heidi at the first opportunity, and choose to intentionally try to get Val pregnant.

is anybody able to tell me how to activate menus on the bottom like auto read? it never works for me on this and some other renpy games, while some other games do come with it activated?
Very good game. All solo paths are fleshed out, solo endings are even longer than some full games. You can clearly see that huge effort and love was put into the endings.
MC is also humble, mature, kind and not your classic 12 y.o who thinks about boobies all day.
I liked that the dev knew what he wanted to do and how he wanted to do it. He didnt milk the game, he didnt stretch the game, he didnt stall, he had planned 5 chapters, a certain story arc and he did that.
Convos between MC and other characters is like talking to real people with real emotions.
All LI's are unique and different. Dev has done a really good job giving them all different "voices".

Agreed! As I've said before, there aren't many finished AVN's but the ending/endings of Bare Witness is how I will judge all other AVN endings now. It wasn't just a few "they all lived happily ever after" renders, you actually see and feel how their lives are after, with each ending feeling unique in its own way.
Also a fellow man of great taste, Val is like a fine wine.
Used the search and didn't find an immediate answer, so I have a couple questions.
1. Does the nicolepregnant value actually do anything? As far as I can tell that's just a dead end value that they never did anything with.
2. How do you get Sam? I figured it was for if you don't have anyone at the end, but that just gave me the 'die alone and unloved' ending, lol.

1. Yes, it's a dead end. I think there was maybe something there that the devs decided not to progress with.
2. There are no choices to be made for it, you just have to play the epilogue/Ch5 on the Val... (made longer so it's not obvious without even clicking the spoiler!) path, and Sam is part of that montage.

Really? Now I love this game even more. It's not that I don't like mods or modders. But I really hate the dumb questions of some(!) users of mods. It's getting annoying with time.
