On a side note though, a lot of people actually like the Steam music, so don't assume it's necessarily an inferior option.
I prefer the Steam music, it's less distracting. Too many vocals in the original and I don't like Lexi or her song. ;)
There are a couple places in Steam version where you lose the audio completely, and one is during a lewd scene, though I expect that's due to the Steam audio being a bit rushed.

They originally planned not to have any music in the Steam release at all, but decided last minute to add it. All the Steam music was added in one 10-hour day very close to the initial launch, so makes sense there's the occasional miss.

How does the 4 girl thing work? Is it 4 phone numbers or is it a certain level of investment the game will warn me about? Or is the game setup in a way where plot lines supercede others and the limit is 4 girls per day or time frame

There is 4 specific girls you can get (Mora, Athena, Sadie, Heidi). This is called the MASH path. Use the pdf walkthrough in the OP to give you all the steps to achieve this end.

Ooh that's not as bad as I was thinking. So the Harem ending simply isn't your standard all girls ending. I'll check it out thanks

If you want a choice-by-choice walkthrough, there's also this:

And yes, it's definitely not your standard harem ending. I'd very much describe it as a polyamorous quint instead, particularly because the focus isn't all only on MC (Edit: which for me is a positive thing, in case that wasn't clear).

Yeah, Mashed Potatoes ending was one of my personal favorites. They really nailed the polyamorous relationship vibe. I also loved how Heidi and MC frequently joke about which of them has the harem.

Mora solo was probably my absolute favorite, but every ending without Sadie was just heartbreaking. They really did a fantastic job making me feel like an asshole for rejecting her. She's just too sweet and genuine.

So I have played through tis couple times here back to back to see different endings and I'm not sure if I'm messing something up with my one play through. I'm going to use the spoiler setting incase someone doesn't want to see whats going on but not an outright spoiler.

Yeah, the one you're trying to get is not available. There's no Heidi, Athena, Sadie path, so it drops you to just Sadie (I'm not sure on the mechanics and if it can in some instances drop you to Heidi/Athena instead.

If you're successfully on the Athena/Heidi throuple path and also with Sadie, you should end up with Heidi and Athena instead of Sadie. If you aren't on the Athena/Heidi throuple path, you should have had a discussion with them about the relationship and likely had some breakups.

If neither of these things happened and you aren't playing the Steam version, you've probably encountered one of the pathing bugs in the Patreon version that got fixed for Steam. It specifically comes up in certain circumstances when you're with Heidi, Athena, and Sadie but not Mora.

what's difference between the steam build and the other one?
The difference between Patreon/Itch 0.5 and 1.01 versions are bug fixes. Both are complete.
The current Steam version is 1.1.8s. It has all the bug fixes (many more than the above 1.01 release). It, too, is complete.
Steam version has the different soundtrack due to licensing issues. Better or worse is up to you to decide.
(Also mods don't work with Steam version, if that matters to you).

I wish we could get this information in the OP. :(

Yeah I'm using the compressed version which is V0.5. I have had play throughs where you had the breakup talk with one or the other girl before but this has no breakup talk of any kind. No problem if its a bug in this version I just wasn't sure if I did something wrong that I didn't know about.
