Yeah - there always seems to be someone that can't enjoy a VN unless MC is fucking his sister, mom, grandma and/or daughter. I'm guessing IRL family holidays/reunions can be a little tense for them if they insist on every VN being incest.

Using the power of my Witness Protection Magic, I turned Sadie into MC's sister instead of his cousin. Right click save it to the folder called "game" as an RPY type file. Should be compatible with all versions and mods.

EDIT: Everyone is welcome to use / not use this patch. Please don't insult me, the developer, or other users over it.

Don't bother. The patch makes zero sense in the story's context. It literally makes the game worse.

It looks like the mod was last updated in January of this year, and there's been Steam updates since then. So it's probably out of date in either case, but I don't use it so can't say for sure.

There is, however, an official Steam walkthrough DLC now for people interested in using official channels:

Steam is a PC game digital marketplace/library platform. Lots of devs (including tons of mainstream companies) sell games there.

Along with things like Patreon, SubscribeStar, itch.io, and a few other smaller places, it's a popular place for AVN devs to officially distribute their game.

I sincerely doubt it. The switch to v1.2s+ versions to accommodate the official WT DLC necessitated modification of many, many menus in the game. Unless somebody grabbed the Steam version of the game and then modified a Walkthrough mod to accommodate all those changes, I can't imagine it would work. The changes made were… non-trivial.

It's also worth a reminder that the code differences between the Patreon/Itch and Steam versions includes some major path fixes for several of the paths implemented in Steam that were never backported into the Patreon/Itch releases. One might argue that the original soundtrack was better, which is fair, but from a code perspective, the Steam release is the better game.

I just played this game for the first time. I chose Valeria because she is the definition of my type, and now I am actually fucking crying now. Nobody told me that this game was so good. The story, the music, the scenes and the characters are all wonderful. I'm just at a loss for words. I don't know if I can play through it again.

Val's ending was a fantastic one – even if she wasn't my favourite LI, she still had my favourite ending.

A fellow man of culture. Valeria is like a fine wine. The Bare Witness endings are the gold standard for me, still the best I've ever played. You owe it to yourself to give them all a try.
