Most people who complain on these forums have never even tried to produce their own video game so they really can't grasp the idea. I for one, have produced 3 video games and I can tell you it's not an easy task. And as a developer starting out, it's very difficult to build a game while trying to balance out everyday life, especially if you don't have the funds of a regular studio and have to work a regular job in between.

I never actually got invested to play RAinces latest definitive edition. I don't know how much different its GUI is.
But of course there'll be changes.
Not all enviroments are the same. (though nearly all of it is)
Girls will look slightly older. (maybe not Ann)
I've worked pretty hard on trying to mimic Lisa's, Lucy's and Ann's personalities. (they should feel the exact same chicks)
There'll be some new casual dynamics for players to engage at home. Nothing truly directed towards lewd content, but stuff that should help building a more familiar atmosphere between Bobby, the girls and their home.
The stats are gonna work a little bit different, simpler and easier to grasp their utility within the game. (the grind should feel less detrimental)
Night visits are gonna be there, of course.
The way lewd events unfold should feel roughly the same.
I believe we'll have over 1500 renders... for reasons unknown I haven't count them yet.
And right now I am working a lot on polish - sound effects, bgm, transitions, etc.
It'll be out the moment all scenes are properly set, and coded.
Should be soon.
I'm positive that most of you, if not all of you, will enjoy it.
Even those unfamiliar to Bobby's Saga should find it a pleasant experience. (ha ha.. pleasant, yeah.. you know what I mean)
And it won't be a 15 minutes only run.. nope. It'll have plenty content. (for a release version, of course)

Jenny's patch is already in production.
It should come around a month and a half or so after version 0.0 is out.
Afterwards, big updates should come within every three or four months.

Usually if something drags on for years on end, at some point the dev decides its time to remaster all the old content, and they end up going back to the beginning to redo the game in some other engine. Either that or the game and its mechanics become outdated and interest generally fizzles out unless theres something completely unique about it that sets it apart from everything else out there.now you guys are only saying that to make me happy..

IMHO as a non-dev porn gaming degenerate since ~2007, 2-3 years seems to be the optimal dev time for a game to conclude if it receives consistent releases. Of course if you're not generating income off it its understandable, in which case expectations should be kept open-ended, sort of like how BadAngelDev approaches his games (sorry for the callout).
