But you guys know that awful feeling we get when playing the release version of a game after seeing all its promo pictures.. that kind of "fuck.. this was way too short, felt like the promo pictures showed me everything"

that alone should greatly reduce its size
whether mods will later compress it even further, it's beyond me
Won't this also reduce the image quality tho? Why not make two versions: One having original png renders and other having webp images released as compressed version.

SummmerP, I don't know how for other members of our forum, but for me the renderings from the game are not as important as the story itself. It's like reading a good novel, if there are still illustrations there, then that's good, and if not, then it won't upset me much. An interesting story, a good style, and a competent narration, that's what I always expect from new games, and renderers now do almost everything at a good level. And if I want good visual plans, then it's probably better to watch porn, although modern porn is a movie below the baseboard. So, SummmerP, I wish you good luck in writing a story no worse than Shakespeare's.
