Dep4emds on the outfits. The first few are bamboo fiber, which spawns randomly on the map (though has a fairly low spawn rate from my runs), iron ore, mined with the pickax from small, glowing blue crystals, and malachite ore, also from small crystals. There's also angerox (probably spelled that wrong) hides, which are in the cave, from the entry way go past the first crystal on the left and hug the wall, you'll make a u-turn basically. Watch out for some holes in the floor and just follow the path to find the mobs.
You can also buy bamboo fibers from one of the merchants.
Later outfits require other mining sites (larger blue crystals and red crystals) and mobs.
It's rather annoying (one of the worst lockpicking minigames I've personally seen). There is an in game hint (mouse over the lower left corner of the screen), but it's still annoying and (from what I can tell) random. Basically, as the hint says, you have to listen to the sounds the lock makes as you turn each ring. The outer ring is a deep kchunk noise, the middle ring a lighter thunk, and the inner is a click. You need to click the left and right arrows to rotate a ring until it makes the correct sound, repeat for each ring (using the up and down arrows, remember which direction you clicked since there's no indicator which ring you're turning and you don't want to mess up one you already set). Unfortunately, I don't think it's a specific spot on the ring, but a random chance each single rotation will give the correct sound and holding down the rotation buttons or clicking too fast will jump over the correct one.
After you reach rank hunting 2 quests a new NPC appears near the quest board, and she asks you to rescue a priestess from the slavers, the door is part of that at their camp by the coast.
Look at the quest list, there should be an "emergency request" after you do the nest, which unlocks tier two. Like I said in my own post I quoted...
The corrupted guard quest is bugged for me, I just took the quest in a new game and they don't show up.
Same area as the nest. You can open the map with M and see which of your quests are in a given area. You can also switch the local map and see points of interest like quest targets on it if you're in the area with them. The guards I think require you to enter that area from town or fast travel during the day, if you go from the area past them or at night they don't seem to spawn and only spawn if you have the quest active.
The moment you said this I thought why don't I try NOT going from the dead forest to highlands, and yeah it worked.
Now the rescue quest is bugged. I go to the place, interact with wardrobe, go get the key, go back to the wardrobe and interact to which it sais "unlock", after that it asks me to get the key again, resulting in an endless loop.
Just leave the area and talk to the priestess (at night though, it crashed when I tried during the day). I think it registers as collected the first time you interact with the wardrobe after getting the keys and it just repeats the locked wardrobe text. There's no item to represent wither the key or cloths.
Also, something I found out the hard way, never collect the eggs from the bottom of the mine if you don't have the quest for them and never take them off the enemy there (killing which is part of the tier 3 quests), since you can't get rid of them. It's one of the annoying things that only items collected in specific ways while you have their respective quests active can be turned in for the quest. This isn't too bad for ore and herbs, but the eggs are quest items and cannot be removed from your inventory in any way I can find.
