Lel new delay

Update on release

There will be a delay for a few more days unfortunately - my programmer was unable to work for a few days, he has some emergency (heavy storm and power outage).
I need around 2 more days, and then i will wait to recieve a new version of Tara's controller.Â
Tomorrow we will record some more cutscenes, i will post something here.

Sorry for additional delays, it's always a thing when working with a team.

P.S. Keep posting your nicknames for the titles - in the topic below.
Oh no. If he say something about new cutscenes this will probably take 10 more days at least. :D

I'm a 3D artist myself who is trying to get into game development (not for pron). And I have to say working with blueprints is easy. But knowing what you have to do is hard.

If you're like me, and you don't have a proclivity towards coding, eventhough the coding might still be simple, its not that straight forward to just make a game. I am taking some time to learn Unreal and frankly I find it hard to work with blueprints.

Understanding the "logic" of coding so to speak can be difficult. You have to learn how to speak the computer's language, and you also have to have a broad knowledge of the different functions, and how the work together in order to effectively code.

Having said that I think Animo's real shortcoming is business. If you're into making 3D art, but you aren't a good coder. And then you hire a single programmer to make your game. That's just not a good idea.

From what I can tell he makes good bank. He should've hired at leats 2 or 3 programmers that can work together to solve problems and give different viewpoints on issues.

It may have been a bigger investment upfront. But it frees up room for important things like being able to focus more on polishing the mechanics and communcating to your audience. You then should make up for that investment by being able to deliver a better product.

Anyway, look who's talking. What do I know. But that's just my opinion.
he makes a little more then $ 22,000
his team including him self is 3 people
the game is in the make for over 2 years

i expected this delay knowing animo's repeating habbit.
you who is in 3d and trying to get into game dev cant tell me you can mess up a date that bad.
not 1 time but 3 times in total now in less then a month gues the release date wrong.

i also dont believe the programmer part, he just needs more days what is fine.
it seems more like a excuse to sugar coat it, and make it look less his mistake at this point.

anyway i will stop talking about this before i get a admin on my ass :D

So to put it simple: "I did not make any progress, please give me momey."
And again, promises without delivering, lies, decieving.

The dates of these posts speak for themselves.

BRUUUH. What are you even fighting and complaining for?It will come out when it will come out. What's your point of complaining about delays on a torrent porn forum? What will this accomplish? Are you expenting your prayers to be heard and the release will be tommorow? He specifically said that this is his project and he will add to it as much as he want to have a finished product. Majority of you aren't even supporters right now.Stop counting other people money and just wait.If his supporters didn't believe that he will deliver something amazing, they wouldn't support him

The reason why we arguing is, he can just tell his subscribers, not us that what progress he made during the week or so about the project. When he was doing 3d video content, he always give the information to his subscriber once in three days and that was alright. He used to show some good clips during the week. At least people see the progress of the project and where to keep their expectations. But if you ask why people are angry with him is because he changed after BTQ 5. And also he used to inform people that he is going to take a break for days or weeks. We are okay if even this game will not release in 2023 or late 2024. But he keeps lying to his own subscribers.

It's not like the next update is going to be full of content. Why do people care so much? That was rhetorical. Let's just assume this will progress at the same glacial pace that every porn game made by 3 people does.

It will be as far as I know, lots of sex scenes and a big map

Does it matter if he started following him now or has done so for years? Because by the looks of your post history you'll tell him to stop complaining and ask why he even follows Animo at all.
its dudes like him that keep bringing up the same shit that everyone already knows. The useless complaints here in this forum wont make him stop the delays anyway. Dudes like him keep barking at the moon which is quite funny to me

Right now it's you who is coming up with useless complains about something irrelevant. Why? Because of sharing of information and updates.
Put yourself together. Think.

Some people want to know whos game they follow and without sharing said information and update, they won't see it and continue asking "When update I'm horny".

Since you asked, I've followed Animopron since the very first release of his lara croft X horse scene, before "breaking the quiet".

That was years ago, ever since he got his hands on a sustainable amount of monthly income through his followers (which he deserved) he started to drag his progress down, he lied, he decieved. That is soething that people who await the release deserve to know before awaiting the final release or progress.

Can y'all coomer brained motherfuckers stfu already? Seriously, take your fucking arguments out of this thread. The game will come out whenever the fuck it comes out.
Reminds me of Jack's thread. Damn thing is closed and a new one opened up in off-topic with the main one only having updates when a new short releases.

Is Animo Pron one guy? or is it a more like a company? You can call it a team whatever but money flows and some output is expected so it must have a serious character. When some companys dont take their customers serious they will lose money.
Iam not a customer so my vote has no weight like most people here that only leech.
We have to stfu and wait for the generous gift of some leftovers.
The company use their time/money to create something and get money for their work.

From what I can tell after following animopron's development for years.

Porn is being made.
The porn is being delivered.
The porn is amazing and outstanding, no doubt.
Animopron is an idiot, no idea about marketing the product.
Little to no idea about creating and uilizing unreal engine.

I love the idea of seeing the work of his in a game and be able to interact with these animations that I have watched hundreds of times, but the development is a slow drag, the slowest I have ever seen. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But this is how he operates, giving gifs and pics to provide hype before releasing the stuff half a year later. Who the fuck does that?

I get that there is a feckload of work being put into this and finding proper assets of the UE market can be hard. But his fanbase is huge, like really huge. Why not pay some fucking artists who actually know there shit? Like, the most crucial stuff, the animations and models is what he already has made! He pretty much has it all and just needs to deliver the rest which is by far less than that.

Working with those blueprints in UE is easy as hell and a professional can utilize the coding and make something out of it, but Animopron is known for his animations. Just the animations he prove were good, in fact, they are a milestone in 3D porn imo.

But seeing these clunky ass assets and hud displays....again...the ones we've seen in so many other games is really disappointing.

But the drag until the next teaser is being released is just annoying, until then most of us will have forgotten about it and moved on. That is not how you advertise and this is not how you treat your fans.
Game development is very difficult. Especially for complete noobs at developing. You are expecting a level of developer capability, like John Carmack. Animopron isn't that; he might be eventually, but he isn't now.

"Giving gifs and pics to provide hype before releasing the stuff half a year later" AAA game developers. How many pics and videos was released of Cyberpunk 2077 before it finally was purchaseable and playable on Steam?

Getting assets into UE is a royal pain in the rectal cavity. I tried developing a simple RTS in UE4 back in 2015, and the number of times the asset would get butt-fugged to oblivion was insane. Sometimes it wouldn't load. Sometimes parts of the mesh was missing. Sometimes the texture map had alignment issues. Its not a simple task to get assets into UE4, unless you use their official pipeline with 3DS Max. But, most prefer to use the Blender pipeline, like Animopron.

Even finding assets on the UE4/5 market still often requires a lot of work to use them nicely. Sometimes you want physics, and they don't have physics applied to the mesh, so you have to do it manually. Its not a simple plug and play type of thing here... otherwise asset flips in general would be super easy to do with a lot of mechanical complexity / diversity.

Working with Blueprints is anything but easy. If you don't know the name of the module that you need for your blueprint script, you can easily get stuck. And the documentation is far from easy to use to find the module you need. Debugging blueprint scripts also isn't an easy task and if you mess around with the wrong metadata, the entire program can crash and corrupt your project file (that happened to me, and killed my RTS project).

Most professionals also won't use Blueprints, but prefer to code in C++. The Blueprint scripting is there for noobs at coding to get some level of programming completed with a minimal understanding of coding principles and syntax. But any serious developers will use C++ instead as its more powerful, less resource intensive, and much more performant.

Clunky assets and bad HUDs are representative of artists or modelers who aren't UI/UX designers or programmers. Because actual ones won't use Blueprint scripting to do the work. The only time professionals do use Blueprint scripting is for the modding toolkit, that only allows you to create mods with blueprint scripting (ie Ark Survival or Conan Exiles does it this way).

The usual way to advertise is to not have a Patreon. You develop quietly behind the scenes, and release an Alpha at a specific point. Most patreons dis-incentivizes people to actually complete a product, as that is when the money stops.

Unless something changed recently Animopron has always used 3dsmax.
Tried it's newest version at friend's work.
It's all great, and feels like home, but interface is really outdated. Same as Maya.
Considering how deeply Autodesk's installation integrating itself into your system and how much disk space it takes, it's worth only for hardcore commercial use, IMHO.
