I guess so? I had both girls on max love status. Like
Argnwan right regarding this game being bad at last part. Same for battle system. As it's worse than previous games one. Without judgement you pretty much deal 0-10 damage in 5 turns
Yeah, not sure if the final boss is different depending on what the endings you go for but these are when I went for the brutal end(s).
My girls had 140+ ATK vs the boss' 75 DEF, and they were dealing 15-16 damage per attack on the final boss with the basic elemental/strong attacks (Kirika's multi attack is pretty good here).
That made the final boss' seemingly low 200 HP more tanky than I had anticipated, though I can still consistently manage to win before the boss 2nd AOE takes out one of my girls.
For Defense, Ixseal had 133 DEF; Kyriel had 94 DEF vs the boss' 80 ATK, and yet they take the roughly same amount of damage from the boss' attacks: 10 from basic attacks and AOE, 38 from special AOE (except Ixseal takes +10 more damage from the special AOE attack for some reason??).
For Reflex, Ixseal had 110 RFX, and Kyriel with 141 RFX vs the boss' 75 RFX.
Even with the disparity, Reflex is too RNG-reliant, sometimes the boss is unable to hit Kyriel and sometimes the boss hits every attack. The special AOE is undodgeable though, I'm pretty sure.
Argnwan is right. There is definitely a point where extra ATK/DEF/RFX stats becomes pointless and stacking HP & AP becomes way more valuable.
For the record I was going for the good endings and had both girls on max love status too. I think the Judgement skill became available for purchase after beating Schemzade. I wouldn't say the final act is terrible, but it is annoying the devs seem to design the final chapter around a pre-determined way to play the game that it doesn't tell you about.
That might be it. I was going for the brutal ends myself and I (unwillingly) avoided the pure love scenes just to keep in the spirit of the run.
I did have the love gauges maxed out too funnily enough.
