Based on what others have said earlier in the thread, it seems the dev didn't have a vision for the story and he is just doing what sounds popular in his discord to keep patrons. Or, he did have a vision and he just sold out. Either way, what could have been a good VN is now hot garbage.

On the other hand, a well-written cheating story has tons of opportunities for suspense. Namely revolving around "Will you get caught or not". That is a song and dance that can be played rather suspensefully for a long time. There is all sorts of room for all kinds of stories there. Not only that remember it's a 2-way street so both parties can cheat on one another and both parties can fake the other out on being fake faithful.

I thought the update was pretty good.Sure it was a bit weird with the whole "haunted" thing,but it's alot better than the last curveball IMO.
