good luck in the current daz culture. (not an indictment of you, but the hyperprotective people as though clicking a few buttons and sliders is on par with corporate trade secrets).

I feel like the base skin may be different from what you're using, unless you're confident that's right. To me Zoey looks more like a SASE texture or something like that.

I understand why someone would protect their creation. Although, I also agree with you that so many hang on to the characters with a very tight fist. I enjoy seeing original characters but it drives me crazy when I can't figure out their DNA. Zoey is one of those characters. Claire makes it much easier and has some nice modifications from the original. I swear I know who the redhead barista is, but I just can't place her.

Another game I play has incredibly beautiful characters as well. And that artist hands them out to anyone who asks with only a few requirements (i.e. not having them perform certain acts or have other men in the setting with them).

I guess I have a different view on it. To me it's more than moving around some sliders. You have to have an eye for what you want to create and then transfer that vision to the model in Daz. Not everyone can do this or want to put that kind of effort in, so we see the same models in many games. Some folks go as far as modifying skins to add uniqueness to their characters.

It's really not as easy as it may sound. I've had something in my head and getting the right breast shape, ass shape, face shape that I have in my head into Daz can be tough.

So, if I created an awesome-looking model, I don't think I would want anyone to be able to replicate it exactly as I can and do what they want with it, either.

And that's their right. Why do you feel entitled to know exactly how to recreate it?

Well, I will be honest. I didn't share my characters mostly because as a creator of NTR content, I imagine my fan art would be predominantly NTR content, and I am aspiring to be a dev that creates all types of content. From love, to sharing, to ntr, to exhibitionism and having my characters associated with 95% NTR creations while I'm trying to branch off feels counter intuitive, at least while I'm trying to grow into a different space.

However, I'm not a gatekeeper and it is quite difficult for so many to make characters just based on staring at a render.
Then you have morphs, lighting, adjusted skin tone settings in the surface tab, adjusted actual skin in photoshop, eyelash utilities, and much, much more.

To help with the easiest part I can to get you much closer, is Zoey's skin. Zoey took me around 3 months to make going back and forth between different versions of her, she is shorter than normal characters, she has over 127 dials used, and most of them I made myself in Blender using the symmetrical sculpt tool, so I can't help you there. That's why all my breast's look relatively similar haha.

So yes, it takes time and it makes sense why some devs don't share. But, I don't mind trying to help a bit while I can.

This is also original skin, also extremely modified :)

127 dials, Blender, and Photoshop explains why her DNA is not recognizable. That is beyond my skill level of tweaking sliders in Daz. Learning and understanding what goes into a character teaches some awesome lessons. I have learned a lot about character creation from digging into DUFs from some of the creators here. But Zoey is on a whole different level and very beautiful, by the way! Nice job! Thank you for answering Big Rooster's post and providing some insight!

You can still make such beautiful characters without a ton of external resources, but if you want them to be different so people say "Zoey from Because I Love Her" then it will take some work haha. I can't even count how many times I've seen the Daughter from DMD

And indeed, I didn't mean to start up a long discussion or debate on DUF proliferation... originally I just intended it as a brief remark.

I differ from some others because I put more value on the ability to create vs the creation itself. Now obviously, not all creations are equal; and while some are slaved over for hours (as it sounds like our Typist here has), others are just a slipshod assembly of the latest and greatest textures and meshes and boom rendertime.

It always seemed to me that the people most fearful over having their creations ripped off are those least confident in their own ability to generate new creative works. That's not to say the creations themselves don't have value, they do, but it's not like people are painting the mona lisa here, or the 3d modeling equivalent; creating meshes from scratch, hand-weighting vertices, etc.

I believe most of this stems from the pervasive 'parlor' mentality in the AVN sphere, and IMHO is to the utter detriment of game development. Just picture if everytime a project was abandoned, a dev said "I don't want to work on this anymore, I used this and this dufs, if anyone wants to pick up where I left off go nuts." The amount of content (albeit some extremely variable in quality) would triple. As of now, the Apple-computer-walled-garden mentality dominates even through death of projects.

Anyway, just a side discussion, don't mind me, please continue the talk about Zoey and Claire and shenanigans to come in future updates! :p

Thanks TheTypist for sharing that! And... I still love Dee too!
My favorite game model are Blaire/Claire/Lisa+++, Tyrant's Ann, DMD's Dee, BB's Alexis, and Nat and now Zoey
for me, dipping my toes into the DAZ3D render thing was at first, was just to try to do something creative with my time, after a series of massive strokes almost killed me, and paralyzed my right side. After playing some adult 3D I wondered how the artists did their work, that led me to DAZ... I thought I could learn how to that :LOL:o_O
It is only a guess. Addy assets are hard to work with for me, but their shaping is very unique and appealing. Was dabbling with and liked her textures, but her face wasn't really right without some pretty dramatic morphing (meaning problems), Addy-Lyla face was easier to dial into a close resemblance....
Oh well, being that I like to do "what if" scenarios from the games that I personally like, it serves my purpose. Like in a previous sequence, Zoey persuaded Claire to take her to the pathway that she met Damien on, from the couples challenge game... Or after Claire did the dirty again with Damien, Zoey could clearly hear Claire's sounds of passion emanating throughout the house, making her aroused again so Zoey snuck into the guest room for another round of carnal bliss.

Gwen is dangerous looking :sneaky: Redheads are Fuego but to replicate her is for another time!

If I were to make my own game, it would be centered on the three forms of NTR's. As I like the Stag/Vixen/Bull aspect. But I would use my own characters in it. Not to say I wouldn't be inspired by other's work. The MC would be a very confident, responsibly successful, good-looking, average-endowed guy with a slight penchant for voyeurism and some cuckold thoughts* Daddy Rooster.png with an uber-hot looking wife/gf 04fb64098bf35ceb8e8bfc3c6f06d0ea142022495374699180.jpg ! They have a good life, but it's getting kind of stale, they decide to embark on a trip seeking to spice up their sex life... enter the games people play!!!
*he imagines watching his wife/gf being fucked silly by a bull, the complicated internal conflict, with his emotional torment coupled with his aroused state.

Who is that? I like it.

On this game - aside from the previous male npc/bull - diversity stuff I'd mentioned, I really hope he'll develop some sub routes like you're describing. IIRC the first game/version was pretty discrete in that Claire was either pure vanilla or became basically this Blacked(tm) pornstar, I don't remember a lot of in-between, though maybe I'm forgetting stuff.
