No idea. I'm told some of the original images are still in the game file, but I haven't looked.Do you know where a copy of the old version you mention is?
Please quote the prompts. She never cheats without being prompted by the MC to cheat.
The only time he tells her to go do something with another man while they're together is when Darryl's on their couch. Yes, he constructs a longwinded explanation of his dream, but at no point does he suggest she make it a reality. Yes, he can finger her to a squirting climax by talking about her having sex with someone else, but that's still not the same as encouraging her to do it. In a healthy relationship the couple would talk this through before acting. Claire would take their conversations and their bedroom play as a fantasy to spice up their sex life, not as blanket permission to have repeated extramarital encounters. That's a conversation that would come later, as they both realized that it's something for which they were ready.
After the shower scene, during a conversation in which she's far from completely honest with the MC, they go to sleep with him reminding her that the important thing is that they're honest with each other. After which she gets a text from Olivia and goes right to the glory holes without any sort of conversation with her fiancé. Then they have another conversation that's supposed to be full of honesty, except she still hides that she willingly grabbed Darryl's dick. The MC still doesn't go any farther than vaguely suggesting it would be interesting to explore their boundaries.
Also worth mentioning: the sofa scene with Darryl and the bartender are different routes, but they both very strongly suggest that Claire's commitment to sexual fidelity is extremely weak and that, no matter how far the confluence of the MC's thoughts and her own actions have gone, she really does feel that she's missed out, sexually speaking. Only on a pure no-cheating/no-cuckolding/no-Jenni route does she stay true, and even then the MC can't seem to bring her to orgasm, or at least not much of an orgasm. This is a relationship that's fundamentally flawed and every route in the game is trying to tell you that. Claire cheats because she wants to.
If she'd done nothing at all with Darryl until the pool party/game/sofa scene, then the story would've shown a slow and logical build from the MC's fantasy and Claire's intrigue to starting to put a willing cuckolding path into action. But in the story as it exists she unquestionably cheats on him twice before that happens.
We agree that he has a nascent cuckold fantasy. But unless you can quote the MC saying anything even vaguely like "go ahead and act out my fantasy" then she doesn't have his permission. Further, she blatantly lies about what she did in the shower, so even if that's with his permission — which it wasn't — it becomes cheating the moment she lies. He certainly didn't suggest she go to the glory holes, and his ambiguity about it in the aftermath reflects this. He absolutely in no way told her that it would be okay to decamp to a hotel and fuck a bartender. When controlling MC actions. No man unless trying to cuck himself would both tell his girlfriend of his dreams of her with anothe man, and then badger her about it. No man unless trying to cuck himself would tell his woman of his fantasies with other men unless trying to cuck himself.
That's all cheating.
You're confusing the player's choices with the MC's choices. Yes, the player makes choices that cause Claire to do what she does. But the MC's saying and doing things that fall far short of encouraging her to cheat on him.
It's not. The only time it's under his control is the sofa scene and the game that precedes it. Everything else is Claire-initiated and in only one of the three cases is she preemptively honest with him about it. Again, the player's choices are not the MC's choices. All I'm saying is that it should not be under the his control if she cheats or not.
