When you get friendly enough with them it would appear as an option.
I think you have to visit the park at some point or find a store to purchase the "tech" (it was a while since I played the game last and my memory fail me)

Or if your question really was about "how they were made" then I guess skills in Photoshop would be the answer.

First I use AI (For example: DreamTime)
Then if necessary I improve the image quality (Topaz Gigapixel AI)
And finally go through Photoshop ^^

No bro, if you can't see it correctly I added in v0.14 a way to fix it. Just open the bugfixer (In the left menu) and click on the option to repair the X-Ray ^^
