Trying to dominate Paul by squeezing his balls + "gimme gimme gimme" seems a bit too direct and coarse even for the Baron, who was a master manipulator in his own right. That was true even when he possessed Alia in the books and used her sexuality for his own ends.

I think David is once again reluctant about the type of content the fans are asking him to make, this time for understandable reasons. It feels like he wants to "cushion the blow" of loli content by having her behave in a controlling manner.

- In the books Alia/Vladimir indeed used her sexuality to further her own ends, and managed to conceal her possession even to Lady Jessica.

- The Baron was indeed a sociopath, but was not stupid.
We are talking about the same one that orchestrated the fall of the Atreides and planned to sacrifice his own nephew Rabban to put Feyd-Rautha in the best light possible, and then maybe paving the way for House Harkonnen to seize the imperial throne.

After all this, do you really think that trying to physically dominate Paul by squeezing his balls (when in a body that's half his weight and height, to be generous) and making a tantrum if the request for the ring is not satisfied is the best course of action Alia/Vladimir could conceive?

Or MAYBE dissimulation could have been a better strategy, paired with some form of aggressive seduction? Teasing Paul with the promise of giving him what he wanted from her? THAT would have been an effective way for the Baron's dominating personality to enjoy controlling his worst enemy.

Secondly, due to her inability to form her own personality, since she was really just a vessel for other people's memories. Thirdly, due to her inability to predict the future as well as Paul did, which became a big problem for her, once she took over as regent, but it might have nagged at her even before.

Insecurities tend to lead to irrational behaviour and acting against one's own best interests. Brilliant people are still afflicted by this to some degree. That alone might explain her brattiness and her attempt to challenge Paul's authority.
