If Stephen had said no, Jade would not have believed him, because she had already made up her mind.

Plot Twist: Burke is a misunderstood character and is actually the nicest/coolest guy around, while Derek is actually the bad guy behind the shadows and is a cartel druglord.

Funny thing is I had my doubts about Burke and in fact thought the other “Dr Burke” was the ringleader.

I did a playthrough to double check the facts that unfortunately largely disproved it (if Quinn can be trusted) but I really liked the idea that Jade was the “Dr Burke” that was behind Quinn and the restaurant. She had access, she was involved with the scholarship scheme that seems to fund the girls. It wasn’t insane she was behind it.

I thought it would have been a nice twist. That the feminist teacher was the mastermind behind a prostitution ring. If the game only ever referred to Burke by a gender neutral title it could have applied to either. The Mona scene could have been him actively trying to undermine his wife’s operation.

Burke being the “good guy” trying to cover up his wife’s activities whilst protecting the girls would have been one hell of a twist. But like I said the game is pretty clear that it’s Stephen.

Theory.

Have you considered maybe Stephen fucked Pink Rose Grils in the VIP room instead of college girls? Maybe Stephen is also the father of Envy/Nicole's kid? What if he also fucked Lily, for example, who came to college later?

It's funny, I was thinking how the age of the characters (mc included) works, as you guys have mentioned, as it's an experimental time for young adults, and hookup culture in college is so prevalent.

And then I was thinking how the mc gets away with being a manwhore, whereas we all hate Burke for wanting a piece of that same pie (and to be fair to Burke, while Jade may be awesome in the sack, she has a controlling personality and is probably a very difficult person to get along with - but is she a cunt because he's a cheater, or is he a cheater because she's a cunt ).

Then I thought how the game's entire tone would be so different if the mc were one of the teachers, and suddenly I realised that's exactly the premise for one of the games in my signature, and here's a hilarious exchange from that game that sums it all up: The mc knows what he is.

I've never played that game, but I think the big difference between it and BADIK is that the BADIK MC has no authority whatsoever. Girls don't need his approval and have nothing to fear from disappointing him. We can make a lot of criticisms of the MC, but he's never tried to leverage his situation to sleep with a girl. The closest he comes is if he offers to help Maya with her scavenger hunt, and he only does that after he first recommends she give up on joining the HOTs.

Burke's situation is completely different, both because of his wealth and because of his position. His position was enough that Mona dropped out of B&R after Quinn merely mentioning what he might do if Mona talked. It's hard to see Mona leaving if she'd walked out on the MC's magic baseball bat instead of Stephen Burke.

It was in gender class just before the Jill tennis date I think, but I'll go and check. Edit incoming soon.

You're dead on, it was the drunk whisper of Cathys name, then she recalls 2 instances where the first time she had 'just' a strong suspicion and the second time she got proof, but we're not told either time that it relates to Cathy, one would assume it does, because she blurts that out right after the Cathy whisper thingy, but it's def kept vague enough to be someone else.

I'm with OFT; Jade specifically says she doesn't want to investigate if Cathy really did sleep with Stephen, so I don't think we can take her mentioning the evidence of affairs as an indication Cathy was the other woman.

Beyond that, I just can't see it. In Episodes 3 & 4 we hear some of Cathy's thoughts as she's trying out different dating apps. To me, it sounds much more like a woman in a long dry spell than a woman who's been sleeping with her BFF's husband. Meanwhile, based on how he's pursued Isabella, it's pretty easy to believe Stephen would drunkenly blurt out Cathy's name even if she wanted nothing to do with him.

This is the launcher of the third season, so there is no new game. What you have to do is to hit import, then see the save you want to import, from there you can start the interlude.

I dunno, man. I'd say the bathroom event (on the DIK path) is kinda there, where he calls out Cam for peeping on him and gets them to strip down. You then have the option to freely bang Mona and Camila if you wish it, he was definitely leveraging his position as the 'wounded party'.

I spent another week writing and coding free roam events. I've been working on something new, pretty cool and perhaps even a bit scary, in this area that I hope most will enjoy.

PCs are rendering animations as usual without issues. They have been working on some long animations lately. I still have 26 animations in the queue, and with most of them being fairly long, I think I have at least two more weeks before the queue finishes.

Next week, I will work on static renders and more animations to get a break from writing.

In this week's poll, Jill won and will get a special render set in episode 9. The special render set polls for episode 9 are now complete, meaning that Josy and Jill will get their own sets.

I have been struggling to find a good cosmetic poll for this episode. As I've mentioned, Halloween costumes have already been determined due to my writing. It will be easier to come up with cosmetic polls in the future, but this episode is special in this area.
