I've never played that game, but I think the big difference between it and BADIK is that the BADIK MC has no authority whatsoever. Girls don't need his approval and have nothing to fear from disappointing him. We can make a lot of criticisms of the MC, but he's never tried to leverage his situation to sleep with a girl. The closest he comes is if he offers to help Maya with her scavenger hunt, and he only does that after he first recommends she give up on joining the HOTs.

I dunno, man. I'd say the bathroom event (on the DIK path) is kinda there, where he calls out Cam for peeping on him and gets them to strip down. You then have the option to freely bang Mona and Camila if you wish it, he was definitely leveraging his position as the 'wounded party'.

I spent another week writing and coding free roam events. I've been working on something new, pretty cool and perhaps even a bit scary, in this area that I hope most will enjoy.

PCs are rendering animations as usual without issues. They have been working on some long animations lately. I still have 26 animations in the queue, and with most of them being fairly long, I think I have at least two more weeks before the queue finishes.

Next week, I will work on static renders and more animations to get a break from writing.

I have been struggling to find a good cosmetic poll for this episode. As I've mentioned, Halloween costumes have already been determined due to my writing. It will be easier to come up with cosmetic polls in the future, but this episode is special in this area.

Now that I follow Daz asset releases a little more closely, I can match the age and id of the asset to the episode of BaDIK. ids from the 55000-60000 era is when BaDIK started.

Beyond that, I just can't see it. In Episodes 3 & 4 we hear some of Cathy's thoughts as she's trying out different dating apps. To me, it sounds much more like a woman in a long dry spell than a woman who's been sleeping with her BFF's husband. Meanwhile, based on how he's pursued Isabella, it's pretty easy to believe Stephen would drunkenly blurt out Cathy's name even if she wanted nothing to do with him.

All very reasonable. Alcohol is far from being a truth serum, all it does is bring idle thoughts up and its Actions that matter.

Another way to interpret it is that the Stephen and Cathy thing was a one time drunk mistake (at least to Cathy and it also could explain why Jade is not as pissed, they are adults with family and history to consider). They could have had drinks at a party or whatever and things escalated while being drunk thus the caution from Jade that Cathy shouldnt drink as much. (In this case to dull the shame, the strain and betrayal on her friendship with Jade). Cathy was and is horny (based on her convos with MC) and the possible drunken mishap didnt help, Stephen is clearly a big drinker at times based on Jades recollection so we can sidestep the question of personal agency and consent with both being drunk, theyre also real adults and can take responsibility for their actions and not make up shit to explain away bad descions with lowered inhibitions.

This is just one other interpretation among many and its not likely to be right either, I personally think Cathy got her shit more together than that, then again she gave roadhead to a student of hers... I still think shes too composed than to consistently cheat with her friends husband.

Its pretty decently written by DPC i think, that theres so many ways possible to interpret what is going on. Im really curious about how much off a bastard Stephen actually is, the range is wide open atm since we have not actually seen what he has done, only what it seems like he have done. All we have seen is him trying to invite Isabella to socialise, edit enrollments and viewing his wifes tryst with a student, everything else is assumptions based on guesswork.

Not much to work with here. DPC has 26 animations queued, and thinks it will take at least two weeks to clear said queue. This suggests his average rate is ~13 animations/week. That's higher than the 10/week he was averaging so far in Episode 9, but on par with his apparent pace during Episode 8. So while our charts haven't changed, they're probably still a reasonable estimate given our limited data.

It's interesting DPC is to be struggling to find cosmetic polls. That suggests Episode 9 will be tightly focused on the Halloween party, which doesn't exactly fit with all the branching DPC was talking about previously. And it certain does nothing to allay my fears that the impact of the MC's supposedly important decision at the crossroads will be ignored until the end of the season. But I suppose it does maximize the chances Episode 9 will be out in less than 6 months, so there's that.

Funny thing is I had my doubts about Burke and in fact thought the other “Dr Burke” was the ringleader.

I did a playthrough to double check the facts that unfortunately largely disproved it (if Quinn can be trusted) but I really liked the idea that Jade was the “Dr Burke” that was behind Quinn and the restaurant. She had access, she was involved with the scholarship scheme that seems to fund the girls. It wasn’t insane she was behind it.

I thought it would have been a nice twist. That the feminist teacher was the mastermind behind a prostitution ring. If the game only ever referred to Burke by a gender neutral title it could have applied to either. The Mona scene could have been him actively trying to undermine his wife’s operation.

Burke being the “good guy” trying to cover up his wife’s activities whilst protecting the girls would have been one hell of a twist. But like I said the game is pretty clear that it’s Stephen.

Man, I can't even tell you how happy I am, that you wrote that and I not only call you, I raise you by a boatload.

#1 Quinn and Riona started the gloryhole/sex business to pay for tuition, just to help themselves. The drug income was used to cover the gap, untill the gloryhole/sex business made enough money to cover all of it.

#2 There is no evil Burke, they are not even involved at all. Well, at least not Stephen or Jade, but Tybalt might be the one who fronted the money.

#3 Sage knew all along, it may even have been her, who had the original plan in the first place, on how to help Quinn and Riona. Sage would do anything for her HOT's, and Quinn being her former daughter and the HOT she is closest to, might have shone a light on problems Quinn has at 'home' and it was Sage, who was the one who came up with a solution. Sage's temper is a carbon copy of Jade's, and we all saw how submissive Tybalt is towards Jade, what if 'sis' has her 'bro' wrapped around her finger and made him cough up the dough and to be the one who fronted the money for Quinn and Riona and it's Sage who pays him back?

It all started in Episode 03, when Riona and Quinn had the following convo.

Quinn "Then tell me your fucking plan, because I've yet to hear one good suggestion from you."
Riona "We stop what we're doing, right now. No more new girls. None of this fucking "expanding" bullshit!"
Riona "We stick to the original plan, with the current girls and maybe Camila, and we just sell what we need to sell, on top of our obligations..."
Riona "...then we cut our losses and we move on..."
Riona "...before this gets harder to keep up with."
Riona "And I'm still fucking concerned about who's been spreading that HOTs give free tuition."
Quinn "Don't worry about it. It's just a stupid rumor."
Quinn "We can dismiss that easily."
Quinn "We just have to make sure that the girls keep their lids shut."
Quinn "And we can't cut back, we're so close now!"
Quinn "Look at Sarah and Melanie! They are paying for themselves and more, at this point."
Riona "Then how the fuck are we short?"
Quinn "I don't know...but we're not that short..."
Quinn "With the alphas' upcoming big order and some extra efforts from the girls, we can catch up."

One thing just jumps of the page: "They are paying for themselves". Now I looked at that from all possible angles, how it could fit all the preconceptions we have and what we believe to be true, but it JUST...DOESNT...FIT ! When someone is paying for oneself, it means someone else paid something upfront, and then the person in question, starts paying it back over a period of time, except it reads like Quinn and Riona are the ones being paid back, how else could they be taking losses?

"And we just sell what we need to sell, on top of our obligations...then we cut our losses". "Our obligations" being that they have to pay their own tuition money back, but it reads like they are using the drug buisness to front the money for all the other girls and that THEY are being paid back. I just dont know how else one can read that line, other than that Riona points out that the girls don't make enough money with the sex/gloryhole buisness and that Quinn and Riona have to supplement that income with their drug money, to which Quinn points out, that Melanie and Sarah are almost at the point where they do make enough and dont have to be supplemented much longer.

Tuition has to be paid at the start of the semester, so that one is easy. But obviously, with at least 6 girls involved at the peak of that operation ( Quinn, Riona, Melanie, Sarah, Camila, Mona ), we are talking about quite a big chunk of change, depending on what they study, in the ballpark of 30.000$ per semester for all of them together. So that would mean, Melanie and Sarah must make ~10.000$ in 6 months from their gloryhole/sex endeavours, which seems doable at first glance. It's also really important to point out, that ALL HOT's live in the Mansion, so the costs for Room & Board are gone, at least in terms of paying the college for it, they still have to eat, obviously.

Now the big one... Tybalt ? REALLY ? Well, follow me ...

Convo between Sage at Quinn at the carwash:

Quinn "Did you set it up?"
Sage "Yeah, I did. It didn't take much convincing, really."
Sage "He's been wanting to do something like this for a very long time."
Quinn "So, it's on?"
Sage "Ugh... Yeah, but I don't like it."
Quinn "We are expanding like crazy this year, you know that, right?"
Sage "Don't patronize me. Look who you're talking to."
Quinn "Six daughters, Sage! It's a record number for the HOTs."
Sage "I wasn't the one insisting on letting Josy in. Also, I didn't think you would accept both Lily and Ashley, either."

We all know what Sage set up and with whom, and apparently it "didn't take much convincing" and "he's been wanting to do something like this for a very long time." ! REALLY ? Tybalt wants to hang around with the HOT's ? We dont even have a shred of evidence that he ever hung out with them, or a single render where he casually talks with any of them, so why is he so keen on booking them ?

Sage is "helping Quinn out", in other words helping her to get money for the new HOT's, because they need the money, but why would they need more money, just by becoming HOT's ? They've been students all along, so shouldnt they need LESS money from here on out, because they can cancel Room & Board, just like the MC did ? And Sage isn't saying she's helping the HOT's, she saying she's helping Quinn to get money, because adding two girls (Camila & Mona), means Quinn and Riona have to front an extra 10.000$ and that's what's pissing Riona off and what Sage is helping Quinn with.

Lets point out 2 more things : #1 Sage absolutely does NOT want to include her parents, even the suggestion from Quinn makes Sage insta snap at Quinn. #2 Sage is helping Quinn out, and she agrees to do it Quinn's way...this time, suggesting that all the other times, they did it Sage's way. So, that kind implies that Sage is not only aware, but that she's the one who pulled all the strings up to this point.

Whenever Sage is told "I heard the HOT's offer free tuition", she doesnt ask "Where did you hear that ?", instead she insta shoots it down and says "Dont believe in rumours", in fact, Maya flat out tells Sage in the library, that Quinn was the one who told her, that she would get free tuition, and yet Sage doesnt even blink. We've never seen her question it or drumm her girls together and ask them where those rumours come from. Yea, I know not shown doesnt equal not happening, but isnt that something DPC would love to show ? To increase the Sage vs Quinn tension ? To have them lie to Sage infront of everyone ?

Finally, to tie up the 'Tybalt is the one who fronted the money to Sage, and she's the one who pays him back' angle. At the party in the DIK Mansion, Sage is absence, the MC calls her and asks her why she didnt come. Sage tells him, she had something to do and then she says:



Call me crazy, but isnt that the Prep Mansion ?

So, is Stephen Burke DPC's red herring ? Is he just another horny, middle aged man who just wants to get some pussy ? I am still 100% sure that he fucked 3 students, it just wasnt related to any tuition business.

Do we need to apologise to good, old Stephen ? Is Tybalt keeping the HOT's afloat ? Is Sage the mastermind behind all of it and Quinn just does as she's told ?

I'd say that's a very mild case, if it even counts at all. He says Camila and Mona owe him a peepshow to make up for Camila trying to look at him while he changed, but it only moves past stripping when Camila says she *wants* to bang him; the MC isn't the one who proposes sex. That doesn't seem any more leveraged than any other time girls lust over the MC's... attributes.

It's rare I'm on the same page as Quinn, but the MC dressing as a slutty nurse for Halloween is one of those times. I'd love to see that option.

I don't see your point. Why would not fit with branching. I'm pretty sure, that we will have different experience during the Halloween party because of the Branching

Yeah I was assuming it cause DPC been vocal in the last 2 weeks about only doing writing and code, but yeah been pretty vague so far, will need to wait a precise number to calibrate progress.
