See post here.Hey guys, just downloaded this mod and it crashes before I even get into the main menu. You guys know what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks, it worked and the game does not crash anymore but now the game has black screens saying things in red text about missing resources. For instance, Image "ep9 intro5" not found.See post here.
Insure you install the correct mod version inside the VN.... there's two mods, one for S1/S2 and another for S3. Keep it simple, take a breath, and read all the info in the OP bud.Thanks, it worked and the game does not crash anymore but now the game has black screens saying things in red text about missing resources. You mention Ep8... you do realize that's the end of S2. There's a mod for S1/S2 and another for S3. You can't use the mod for S1/S2 inside S3. Is that what you did?Apologies if this has already been resolved, but I'm not seeing the Choice Guide appear in my choices even with it enabled, as soon as I start playing Episode 8.
I've playing using SanchoMod from the very beginning of the game, and up until Episode 8 began, had no such issues.
Any way to solve this problem, Sancho1969 ?
Thanks for the quick response. As I understand it, Episode 8 comes under S2 and thus uses the S1/S2 mod right?You mention Ep8... you do realize that's the end of S2. There's a mod for S1/S2 and another for S3. You can't use the mod for S1/S2 inside S3. Is that what you did?
Interlude and Ep9 are S3, correct. As far as the Ep8 issue then you must have unarchived scripts in your game folder... that's the only way that can occur. The mod is designed to be installed inside an unadulterated VN, any shenanigans done otherwise are not on me. So, check inside your "game" folder. If you see .rpy/rpyc files then that's on you. Report back please.Thanks for the quick response. As I understand it, Episode 8 comes under S2 and thus uses the S1/S2 mod right?
Up until the end of Episode 7, the Choice Guide has worked just fine. When I start playing Episode 8, it disappears.
It's only for the Interlude and Episode 9 that I'll need the S3 mod for right?
Fuck. You can't be serious ... you don't have Ep8 even in that VN... you have the old SanchoMod that's v0.8.2 or prior which doesn't have Ep8. Ep8 is inside VN/mod v0.8.3View attachment 2333388
This is the current content of my games folder, and there does seem to be a gallery.rpyc file yes. Is that the gallery unlocker I installed a year or so ago?
Should I simply delete and install the game again, without the unlocker this time?
The contents of my scripts folder in my Season2 folder does seem to have an .rpyc file yes.That's likely fine since I don't alter that file in particular. Look inside that "game" folder. You shouldn't have a "scripts" folder or a "season2" folder. If you do look inside those... specifically if you have a "season2" folder. No need to post a huge pic, just let me know or thumbnail/spoiler tag the pic.
It does seem to be 0.8.3.Fuck. You can't be serious ... scratch the above post.... you don't have Ep8 even in that VN... you have the old SanchoMod that's v0.8.2 or prior which doesn't have Ep8. Ep8 is inside v0.8.3
You have this all fucked up.... what version of the VN did you install?
Well, that SanchoMod doesn't have Ep8 in it... I'm telling you that you have the wrong SanchoMod installed. Grab the S1/S2 from the OP. The one you have was for Ep7 or Ep6 and prior... it's a maximum of v0.8.2, maybe v0.8.1 by that date. Someone either gave you a shit file or you simply installed the wrong mod from your archives. You missed out on so much playing on the wrong mod too.... the latest SanchoMod for S1/S2 is so much better... massively better. Post here has most of the deets.The contents of my scripts folder in my Season2 folder does seem to have an .rpyc file yes.

Alright then. So, should I just download the S1/S2 mod from this thread's OP and extract it to a newly downloaded 0.8.3 version of the game from the BaDIK thread's OP? Or will the VN being 0.8.2 suffice? I ask this because a compressed 0.8.3 version does not seem to exist.Well, that SanchoMod doesn't have Ep8 in it... The VN you just showed me is v0.8.3 ... Otherwise you can install the mod inside what you have but you've obviously done other things (with those loose rpyc files, etc) so you're taking your chances on how good you are at cleaning up the mess which you'd also have to do. If you want you can install VN v0.8.3 in a differently named directory/folder so you have a separate install. For example "BeingADIK-0.8.3-pc - SanchoMod".Alright then. Alright. I think I'll start from scratch and see if it works. Thank you very much for your time!The VN you just showed me is v0.8.3 ... FYI: memory now serving correctly v0.8.2 has Ep8, the v0.8.3 was an update to resolve issues with the VN and change the some of the music by the developer. v0.8.1 was Ep7, etc. But your screenshot shows v0.8.3 so you must have the update file somewhere in your archives so you should be good to go with a new install if desired.
From scratch (if you choose to do so) you would install VN 0.8.2 complete, then VN v0.8.3 patch file, then SanchoMod v0.8.3
No problem. If you do that you're going to get a ton of new "small" features and UI enhancements. If you don't then removing that Ep8 script file you tagged should get the old mod working as expected. It's your call but the latest mod is superior to any older one.Alright. I think I'll start from scratch and see if it works. Thank you very much for your time!
I usually have a file named "console.rpy" I put in the game folder with the following commands in it...Hi,
I'm currently getting 'Screen_developer is not known' when trying to launch dev console.
I have this annoying thing where there's some sort of 'disco lights' overlay stuck on the screen and it's annoying me so trying to fix it with dev console.
EDIT:
Actually Ifixed my overlay issue, but not sure if the dev console thing is a bug in the mod or just something my end. I don't have any other mods installed.

config.console = True
config.developer = True
