In my youth I was a bit of a rapscallion, and I know of a few youthful ladies that made a point of visiting my abode strictly thanks to 'word of mouth' about certain things. It certainly had its benefits, but it wasn't earth-shattering. I can say of the lot of them there were a handful that I would say were absolute knockouts. To this day (decades later) most of that select few have retained their good looks. And only one of them isn't batshit crazy in some way. I can only really draw a few conclusions from this.
A: Bedding them drove them nuts in some manner. Unlikely, I was good, but not good enough to shatter the mind.
B: I have a knack for picking them, and violated rule 1 far too many times (don't stick your dick in crazy)
C: Most women are crazy anyway, you may as well aim high?
Puns aside, it had its ups and downs. Waking up most days of the school year with somebody warming my bed? Awesome. Having stories spread? Not quite as awesome. There really was a point where I suspected I was just being treated like a toy that a few of them were passing around, and despite the raw physical fun, not any real significant emotional connection with many of them.
There were a few, though, and that bond is still largely there today. And I'm quite pleased they are married to other people.
So, am I like "this" too? Not these days, but at one point, yeah, I kinda was. Thankfully, I never ran into anything worse than an Arieth situation once, and I've certainly made some Very Bad Decisions. I consider myself lucky. That's also why I enjoy some of these games as I do, because it's a bit of nostalgia without (usually) being too ridiculous. In BaDIK, MC definitely needs to pull his head out of his ass. He and Jill both have a significant case of the stupids going on.

The internal monologue or whatever you want to call it is meant for the audience, it shouldn't influence the other characters in any way. Removing Jill's soliloquies would be pointless for two reasons: 1 she already does a very good job of making her intentions known, she's not like her sister who could use many more internal monologues apart from the darkly comical little shame spiral she had in MCs room after MC starts patting himself on the back for doing such a good job. 2. Positivity is really just escapism and dereliction of duty, self-inserting as a character in a game isn't stupid as it clearly serves a purpose just like men jerk off to porn to feel good women like drama for the same reason which is why they get called shallow because they feel for shits and giggles sometimes.... blegh
Seems like everywhere I go there's a sentiment and for all my misgivings i'm given some meaningless platitude, but I suppose apathy is the chosen way to be for some. Hypocrites that you are because you rely on chemicals in your brain to tell you that they are chemicals... Like how parents will do anything for their children but take responsibility for them, hence school shooters and why you demonize them yet you wonder why the world and your life is shit? You shouldn't label things if your intention isn't to learn about them ignorance like that will only get you hurt or breed insecurities in the back of your mind.

About the internal monologue, i disagree, i find it a nice feature. In general i like them. As a note, they dont need to be necesary, most of the time they are not. But that doesnt mean they should be removed at all. In a book you dont need a description of the place where the action happens, yet they make the book better.
In particular I specially like Jill's inner thoughts. For two reasons. First, this one was meant to be comical. It's a clasic joke, where we seen a character struggling with himself by doing the oposite of what he/she wants. Not the best joke of the game, butnot bad neither.
Second, since it's a porn game, and Jill is a platonic relationship, thats her charm. We dont need Sage inner thoughts couse we have her pussy (the "real" thing). With Jill (for thoose who like her) we get a different thing. Platonic relationships work with fantasy. They are two people fantasising with each other. It happens only in the mind.
After all Jill's inner thought's included something like this:
