Now all people that fucked up their saves are complaining the game starts looping..... And we all know why...
If he didn't make that protection the same guys would be complaining the game crashes or does things that are impossible...
So DPC made a choice that results in people fucking up their saves looking bad, instead of having these people make his product look bad.... Seems to me he doesn't care if any of us cheats, he just doesn't want it to reflect negatively on him...

Most games AAA, indie, porn whatever get by fine without going out of their way to fuck with modders, mod users or even cheaters in a single player game.

Lets be honest he does not do it to protect the integrity of his fapfest he does it because he's a dickhead control freak and I'm been kind adding the control freak part.

And regarding content -
Sandbox is irritating and time consuming, dev sould have just added both, sandbox and VN mode with a choice
Quality was not down so it's fine
But just one sex scene, , is this really porn game

It's hard to believe the dev required a whole year to make this.
Especially if Dev's leading a normal life.
If Dev's in some kind of crisis or his wife/ gf got pregnant and he's taking care of her that would mean something.

But if Dev's leading a normal life, w.r.t. the content he made, it's not much

And adding Zoey in the middle was really dirty, I know people were talking about this in the interlude release, but her intro is just dirty.

Whatever the overall quality is going down

The Dev seems wierd, people try to achieve best and remain in that spot but it's like this dev is deliberately downgrading it's product while there's so much scope.

Wouldn't say it's as good as previous episodes neither say it's "bad" per se. Tell you what, to me this episode was my least favorite in a Being a DIK-scale and I'd say this episode would fall in my "Not that good" tier.
And, we had more Quinn content

I haven't played an "Others" route yet. So, everytime I went in the haunted house, I went in with the girl I chose in episode 8. But, what happens in the "others" route? Am I alone?
