BaDIK and Chasing Sunsets are above and beyond any other VN I've seen in this respect, though as much as I love BaDIK, I think Chasing Sunsets actually does it better. Every single character pose feels so natural in CS and each frame has cinematic appeal. But Kentyrr and Stoya are fucking wizards at digital art. It's almost not a fair comparison.

Yeah, it's the attention to detail of the subtle nuances in the facial expressions and body language that adds so much more to the story. What's the saying, eyes are windows to the soul...For digitally rendered eyes to have "soul" is pretty impressive. And DPC certainly says a lot with the characters' eyes.

Yeah DPC is really good at subtle visuals. Like that scene with Jill and her friends on the Jill path. Bella's reaction to the news differs slightly depending on whether you dumped Bella for Jill or not and it's so fucking subtle. Literally the only difference is that her eyes are slightly more downcast and her brows are slightly higher. It's enough to make it appear like she's hurting inside but doesn't want to ruin things for Jill:

Or another time was during that that scene in EP8 right after the Dorm party where MC plans the party with Sage and Quinn. If Quinn likes MC her eyes will keep drifting up to look at MC's new fuckboy haircut. I fucking love those subtle touches!

True, and she seems pleased when the MC says that he wants to give up control, cause she says that she likes both...but if you pick that you want to control her, her attitude is like 'Yeah, let's see what you've got.' I think it's more that because she's been with Chad (a closeted gay man) she doesn't really know what domination is. So when the MC fucks her throat like a common slut, she's like 'Wow...that's how you dominate someone.' I believe her love for being in control stems from what she has had to do with Chad in order to get off.

Especially in the sort of workload DPC has, of massed queues of renders. You might get an advantage (with older implementations, not a 3090) on a single render, but when you have a stack of thousands, and are loosing half of your vram (along with other resources)....It probably would be reasonable to put more than one card to a system, depending on the system cpu/ram/pci bus lanes/etc. (server grade stuff, for instance, or at least high end multi-threaded CPUs; that's how commercial render farms work), but you wouldn't want them in SLI, even if it were implemented. Better to have two renders going and using up all your various resources than to do them consecutively with what ever workload can be done simultaneously, but wasting the non-core resources on the second card.

I thought she's rated the threesome with Quinn as 4/5, or is that the one you mean? Plus, she doesn't rate the first sex where, according to your theory, she supposedly learns for the first time what it actually means to be dominated, anywhere near this high.

In any case even if she had more leaning towards being submissive i don't think it means anything for her being a switch. Just like when you're bi then you're bi even if you like one gender more than the other, as long as you do like and get off with both.

As someone who has only started to play this game (meaning the long gap between episodes 8 and 9 wasn't a factor for me), I have enjoyed episode 9 quite a bit. Although I don't know how much of that is due to the simple fact that my expectations were never very high, when it comes to games like this one, as long as they entertain me for a while I'm fine with it.

I have only played the Maya/Josy path since it's the only path that I'm interested in playing, and I really don't have any complaint regarding how that route was handled. I have replayed their different scenes many times, and I keep enjoying them as much as the first time. Moments like teasing Josy over the conversation you have with her dad are just hilarious, and seeing how happy they are once you tell them you're committing to the relationship is just :love:

Fun fact, I tried to play the Sage one out of curiosity, but once I reached episode 5 and I saw the reactions of Josy and Maya during the prep party if you don't pick them, I just didn't find in me to continue it. Now that I saw how bad things are for them if you're not in their route, I'm going to stick with them even harder XD

And an aspect of the game I'm also enjoying a lot is the music. I have never expected a game like this one to have such a good soundtrack, but here we are. Although it was very fun to hear a song that plays in the game in some random Youtube ad XD

And I will also say that I like the party planner minigame. It's not the best thing ever, but it's a fun small puzzle to solve.

That said, as much as I can't complain regarding how long it takes for episode 10 to arrive since I'm playing it for free, I really can't wait for it to see how the story continues.

Aside from a few different dialogues throughout the party, nothing really major changed this episode. It's possible that in the next episode the DIKs will praise or disapprove you depending on your score, but I don't think it will have a big effect on the story itself.

However, if DPC wants this minigame to have some impact on the story, I think it would be cool to see how the characters react to your parties in the future. For example, if you suck at every round of this minigame the HOTs could start partying with the Jocks more (even if this only happens after the end of the game), since it's been mentioned multiple times that they should respect tradition but don't do it because the DIKs are better at throwing parties. It would give a nice sense of urgency and make the existence of this minigame more justifiable. But, to be honest, I don't think it will be that deep.
Try to get S at every round just to be safe though.
